Gameplay tips and progression |
Cast Homing soul arrow right before every pvp match and run straight up to them and as soon as the arrows hit them quickly attack with your mirdan hammer.( Or you can just face your back to them with homing arrow on you and as soon as they are near you turn around so all the arrows hit them.) If you want to be cheap :p ------Other notes---------------- I win about every pvp match :) Epic class. |
Magic mirdan Pure
Unless you have actually made and tried it :). Also make sure your weight isn't over 50% so you can dodge most of any attacks. Make sure to get old spice for pvp so you can charge up your mana very quickly without them attacking you.
I've made similar builds to this on an a number of occasions, in fact, it's pretty much just a Spellsword build with no End and next to no Vit, both things being negative points.
You're going to need more Vit, at least 35-40, if not more.
40 Endurance is also a must because you're using the Mirdan Hammer.
It's pointless to get 32 Int, you'd be better off just leaving it at 30 for the spellslot.
In order to have more points for Vit and End, you're going to want to take either 7 or 12 points out of Magic, it won't hurt your damage much due to diminishing returns.
A better armor set would be Binded or Ancient King's, especially considering with a good amount of End you don't have to worry so much about weight.
You would also be better off starting with a different class, the 11 Luck is a huge waste, and getting 16 Faith for Second Chance (which is essential in PvP these days) is made a lot easier by choosing, for example, the Royal as your starter.
Hopefully that gives you some things to think about.

Thanks for giving me some good advice.
Your strategy regarding Homing Soul Arrow is a bit…basic. To be honest, I have never met a serious PvP'er that would run straight towards you when HSA is up. And NEVER turn your back. Your opponent can run in and get a backstab. If the arrows hit him, he will take no damage. If they hadn't fired yet, they will either fire in random directions or just float there hopelessly for ten seconds while you stand up (that's assuming you survived the backstab…with no Vitality or SC, you don't have a great chance on that one). HSA is a combination spell. Unless you mix it together with melee or other spells, you'll never get a hit. Most opponents will either hang back until they fire or run around for a backstab . The trick is to cast it when they are about to melee you, and are too caught up in a combo to get away in time.
Soul Ray > Soul Arrow. Always.
Warding is a nice spell…but I don't like it for Magic builds. Those spell slots would be better used for Poison/ Death Cloud, or Ignite. Get Faith up, as Ilkar suggested, and carry Second Chance with you. If you insist on Warding, only use it when fighting pure melee builds with pure physical damage. If they have even a hint of Magic, go with SC. That includes Light Weapon.
Just some points for you to consider ^_^

Ask my anything. About Magic, that is.
Hey guys. Any answers would be appreciated
I was wondering how much the Dark Silver shield affects the moon sword damage. If the shield decreases the magic damage, wouldn't the damage from the 'moon' modification be negated?
Dark Silver Shield nullifies all physical and Magical damage.
with 50+ magic crescent is better than moon
