You realize that it requires a Faith Level of 18 to use properly, if you are just going to use it for 2nd Chance, then you might as well just stay with the Talisman of God
You can cast One Time Revive (2nd Chance) with Talisman of beasts…
16 Faith for 2 miracle slots + Talisman of Beasts will allow you to cast non scailing spells such as 1 time revive and Warding
The reason for talisman of beasts is it gives the ability of being able to cast spells if you wish + also be able to use the helpful 1 time revive.
Wouldn't it be much better to have a Mercury Uchigatana +5 . It does the same amount of bleed damage with a added 360 poison.
Well i have been using some different weapons on this build lately and ive found that Sharp kilij +5 main hand and Mercury Uchi +5 off hand work well as having the ability to inflict poison is useful and the uchigatana has very fast attack in the left hand.
Oh i think he used sharp because of the massive dex bonus.
I've been looking for a good dex build that uses katana's, just because they look cool, and this build matches it perfectly.
I'm going to create a thief and see how it goes, then make another comment.
You could add a little walkthrough about the typical 1-1 to 4-1 (gets you the uchigatana early on).
And A walkthrough on how to get the talisman of beasts would be nice, I'm struggling with that.

As much as I loathe it, the other Dex build is a lot more useful than this in terms of a viable stat spread and a small amount of progression.

1. Katanas make you VERY vulerable to Scraping Spear
2. Cursed Weapon will turn your Uchigatana or Hiltless into a damage dealing monster with your current DEX (Though, I'd really stop at 50)
3. Watch out for the Great Axe family, expecially when they're cursed. They'll take your 2-3 hits and just beat you into the ground with their 1-2-3 Beatdown combo
Having said that, you probably already knew this going in but if you didn't, you do now.

I wouldnt recommend anything less than 40 END for a DEX build. You want the full stamina bar for the maximum pushlock combo of dual uchi's. 40 VIT is another standard, anything less can die from a single good hit from any high damage build. 18 FTH is minimum for casting second chance, so… up FTH to use it, or go with min FTH and go without. As for the armor, maybe it is cosmetic for you, but because of the decent equip burden you have from your END, you should go with something that can take a bigger hit, even the rogue set for the improved magic defense. You don't gain much damage for anything past 50 DEX too… so that's my advice, take it or leave it
Im debating on making a dex build or a dex hyper mode build and i would like weapons with speed. Any suggestions? Im usually my bbs char so this is different for me^^ looking forwrd to it.
