Gameplay tips and progression |
Best to wear lightweight equipment to allow for dodging until endurance is higher. I started with the Thief, and as such, had easy access to a bow, dagger, and buckler early on in the game. Keep your equipment load light, as it makes it harder for enemies to detect you. Get a catalyst and the thief's ring as soon as possible to allow for sneak attacks. The high-faith is necessary to prevent magical damage from tearing your guts out. If choosing to use the saboteur for PvP, use the Quality Secret Dagger +5 two-handed to dodge around the heavy sword-wielding dopes and stab them in their soft spots. Always, always, always roll left or right. Never forward. It is possible to use the meat-cleaver to great effect with the given stats, but not single-handedly. Fireball is useful against a majority of the game's enemies. If seriously considering using the miracles, use Wrath of God (on your second playthrough) instead of Banish, if you actually want to fight in PvP. I keep banish in my list because I absolutely hate it when some random dude invades. I just want to return to playing the game, with the online perks. |
