Recommended equipment	In your left hand - Knights Shield + X Talisman of Beasts (or any other Talisman) In your right hand Crescent Winged Spear + X (Or Silver Catalyst if you dont have Talisman of Beasts) Cresent Facion + X I always keep a compund long bow + X although its not equipped. RINGS - Ones that i wear as standard usually are - Cling Ring Ring if Alvarice Fragment Ring Ring of Magical Sharpness Although you will probably find other rings are needed in particular levels/fights
Recommended spells/miracles	Soul Arrow Homing Soul Arrow Warding Fire Spray Fire storm Poison Cloud Acid Cloud Evacuate (real time saver when going on farming missions) Revival
Gameplay tips and progression	As soon as you beat level 1-1 and can level up, stack your magic until you reach around level 40 and get the Crescent Falcion from world 3-1. Next stack your intelligence up to 25. While you are building these stats you will not be able to wield the spear or Knights shield effectively so stick to the buckler for now. When you reach the above stats, build you Strength/endurance to enable you to equip better armour and wield better shields. (I stacked strength first and wore the leather armour set) My armour isnt really relevant to the build as I tend to pick what ever I think looks cool. PLEASE LET ME KNOW ANY SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE THE BUILD. IM NEW TO DEMONS SOULS AS IT ONLY CAME OUT ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO IN EUROPE.

magic is good, but the stat spread is very thin… I wouldn't recommend this build to a beginner because there are better mages out there that deal insane damage and don't need the melee. "crescent winged spear" is incorrect, there is no such thing. Winged spear with light weapon would be a viable choice though for low level PvP. the max STR a mage should ever have is 16 for the dark silver shield, 18 if you want to be a spellsword and use Uchi's.

an okay build. any build can be used in pve. so why someone would givve a minus 1 perplexes me. having a melee magic build is nice. some parts are easier with melee, while others magic is easier. oh and i am sure you meant moon winged spear ;) i am staying neutral on this for now btw. still i little unsure
