Blueblood Sword (lvl 125 PvP) Build
why did people negatively rate this? ): if you're going to rate a -1, at least tell me why…
Hmmm… I'm no expert, but you are getting negatives because of the unnecessarily low endurance and luck for a higher magic stat.
The Blueblood Swordsman is a melée build through and through so having 40 endurance is a must-have. The Blueblood Sword damage IS based on luck so 30+ is what I would shoot for. The increase in magic does nothing but increase the effectiveness of Light Weapon and make some spells stronger but no where near PvP ready. It serves no practical purpose whereas endurance increases max stamina and luck raises the BBS damage AND drop rate for items.
Thus, the negatives. There really isn't any good way to make an unusual BBS build (believe me, I've tried).
i always knew that would be a problem. i completely disagree with you when you say my magic is unnecessarily high. the bbs build in PvP is relient upon light weapon. the endurance is only 33 because in pvp, you need 38 to pull off the BBS 6 hit combo. but in my opinion 33 is enough because, to be honest, you won't see anybody pulling off the full 6 hit combo anymore unless someone doesnt know how to block or roll. and i wasnt sure about what to do with magic and luck… because, i always see 30 luck and 20 magic. or 20 luck and 30 magic. so i originally had the build at 25 and 25. maybe i should put it back to that. but thanks for the feedback. (:
EDIT: and 24 intelligence is to learn warding. it works very well.
EDIT: EDIT: uhh… I'm an idiot. I completely forgot that it's not possible to use warding and SC at the same time… I'm going to fix this waste of 6 levels…
+1 from me good build. your right about the magic to that is the BBS only weapon really it is reliant on LW. you only need about 30 endurance or so to do ur combo and have enough left to roll away if u have to. i like the idea of warding too because it could save ur butt if ur SC gets popped. i think my stats would prbably look something like.
Vitality: 40
Int: 24
Endurance: 30
Strength: 18
Dexterity: 18
Magic: 30
Faith: 18
Luck: 25
If you dont want warding i would put the extra points into vitality for some extra survivability.
Hi,
I never give -1 for I feel you put in effort to even create this build.
While I do have a question to everyone that has posted this caliber of build on wiki, I don't think overall this build is bad.
I would ask though why starting as a Royal wouldn't be benefiicial.
At 125SL here are stats I came up with:
Vit-50
Endurance-36(all you need for combo's)
Magic-40
Faith-18
Dex-18
Intelligence-15(cast second chance, buff using Insanity catalyst all you need)
Strength-18
Luck-20(all you need at minimum)
Doesn't that seem like a better overall stat mix? 40 magic, use left hand uchi(moon, or crescent; moon giving a bit more power damage wise)
You can also use crescent or moon upgrades as secondary weapons once bbs buff runs out.
Moon Knight's +5, MH+5,etc..
I may be wrong, but I don't get why many people feel that taking magic to 40 having a bit less endurance, while boosting vitality up isn't an option.
Someone I dont' remember who, said the starting class doesn't matter.
It does. Royalty. SL 125 using that class, you get more out of than Temple Knight!
Meant SL 135 build, not 125. Forget above post as i see you are looking to go to 125 only range.
