| Gameplay tips and progression |
This build is quite versatile, as it can use a large amount of weapons, it also uses status effects such as poison, plague and bleeding to it's advantage. If you manage to inflict your opponent with both poison and plague, their benefit from spices and stamina regen will be cut down considerably, which will give you a big advantage. You can use Warding instead of Death Cloud if you want to, and use the Baby's Nail to inflict plague on them instead. General PvP: I personally like using the Sharp Secret Dagger and the Mercury Parrying dagger together, because when players are having their HP drained, they tend to become more aggressive, which can be punished by a well timed parry, or backstab, both of which will cause high damage. Of course, if you don't feel like using those two weapons, you can always use the two uchigatanas. Weapons in your left hand can't be buffed, so you can use the fact that the moon uchigatana also can't be buffed to your advantage. The sharp uchigatana benefits from dexterity, and light weapon will seriously increase the damage. The backup weapon in your right hand is your choice, you can use any of the weapons mentioned in the weapons section of this build. This build also meets the requirements for the Meat Cleaver two handed, which is a nice bonus. Hell, it also meets the requirements for the Blueblood sword, and considering your high magic stat, you can use that too. Stealth: This build can use fatal weapons, thanks to it's reasonably high level of dex, and moon weapons will not emit an aura, so this build works quite well with stealth. The rings you will have to equip are: the Thief's ring and the Foe's ring in soul form, and the Graverobbers ring and Dull Rat's Ring in body form. The Dull Rat's ring emits an aura while in use, so your enemy will know where you are, but your HP must be below 30% for it to work, and that will only happen if you are being attacked frequently, and since you don't have second chance, you will need that increase in defence to survive, when you heal yourself, the aura will be gone, and you can go back to being invisible. Check the wikis section on Stealth for the list of things that produce an aura. Now, in your right hand, your going to want to equip the Fatal Estoc, and the moon weapon of your choice, with a talisman of beasts in your left hand, (since the spells don't have any bonus with the Insanity Catalyst, you might as well use the talisman of beasts.) Since you have both poison cloud and death cloud as spells, there is no need for a mercury weapon in your left hand, but you can use it if you like. If you can get your hands on another moon uchigatana, you can use a combo of attacks known as a pushlock, this will stun your enemy if done correctly, and he won't be able to do anything until your stamina bar is depleted. How to pushlock: Note: The best time to use a cloud spell is after a backstab, as they won't be able to escape from it. Backstabs cause high amounts of damage, and the cloud will also prevent them from healing most of their health. That's all I have to say about this build, and I'd appreciate it if you'd give it a try, and tell me what you think, feedback is welcome. Have Fun ! =D |
