Gameplay tips and progression

As the resident mage on the Trio squad it is of the greatest importance to level your magic stat first to a level where most times you onehit KO (OHKO) your opponents dont worry about health or intelligence to start. mainly due to TANK you will take minimal damage. also the remedy for no MP is spice the remedy for sucky damage is NOTHING. So focus on getting that magic stat up. As for gear 2-1; kris blade 3-1 armor and ring of magical sharpness 3-3 invading for monks head wrap. If Tank is focused on VIT and Ninja is upping DEX for bow damage after getting basic gear do what ever you like ^_^ enjoy. LET THE SQUADS ROAM!
There is an obvious lack of health here so more often then not you will be standing back shooting magic from a distance. Tank should be more than enough destraction for you to deal plenty of damage. In the event that you become the target of a decent foe simply back track enough so that Ninja can deal damage. Otherwise proceed as a normal mage.
If you can do math you have noticed that the stats dont add up to 120+ SL that is because these are the essentials after that do what ever you like. your already a decent mage.
