Recommended equipment |
I'm trying to completely recreate the character Aragorn with this build. The equipment will match him almost perfectly but feel free to change what you want to use. I'm only doing it this way because as I said before, he is my FAVORITE character, and I want to make this build as close to 100% as I possibly can. Weapons:
Note: Aragorn does not need a shield because he is so awesome. As I said above, you can add a shield if you want. Just trying to stay true to the character portrayed by J.R.R. Tolkein. If you are in dire need of a shield, then I suggest that you use the Kite Shield because it looks "Knightly". Armor:

Recommended spells/miracles |
No spells are required because Aragorn is not a Wizard or a Magician. However, I have added in Second Chance with this build because I have found that most people are super dependent on it. I have gotten to the point where I don't need it anymore, but it's still a nice thing to have. Miracles:

Gameplay tips and progression |
There isn't much I can say about the progression of this build. As long as you stay within the guidelines, you should be fine. As I said, Aragorn is my favorite character and I thought that it would be kind of cool to put him into another setting. I'm not looking to pick a fight with anyone (Ilkar) but this is just a fun build. Like TearsofBlood's Legolas build (awesome by the way). If you have any questions, comments, or concerns (that isn't about trolling) feel free to message me on PSN. My PSN id is: DemonFyre2867. |
Aragorn
this is a great build, but Arogorn's sword is actually a 2h sword, switch the Ls out for Claymore. get 18 int for cursed weapon.
Make Arogorn a power house, have you hyper mode gear (clever rats, morion blade) equip MB off hand and 2h your primary sword, keep EWR. and about SC, every one needs it as back up, its a good thing you put it there. yet again, im glad you like my build
I first got the idea after i looked at your build. I figured that why not recreate some characters from LoTR just for fun. I will take into account your revisions of this build and see what i can come up with. Although, i dont really like hypermode but i may try it to see what can happen.

Alright, here is the summary:
this is a basic strength build, however you waste stats on END over 40 and VIT over 50. Aragorn used a claymore-type weapon, not a longsword. The knight's sword is a better weapon. As for your armor, it really is too heavy. If you want a rewarding build, lighten the load and spend the extra points from END for more attack power. It is worth it, trust me. If you disagree, then you should consider at least using the DBS or Bramd. Until you provide ample refutation, it's a -1 :( sorry
PS: a better bow to use is the lava bow, just up DEX a bit.
This is really not a PvP type build. I created this build to REPRESENT the character Aragorn. It has no other purpose but that. The armor is acctually way light than most builds but whatevs. I appreciate what you wrote down but i have no intention of doing anything with this build. Maybe someday…

like the other guy said.. sort of… get dex to 30 for sticky compound longbow use WA's for it , you'll hit around 356 per hit… i think, hyper mode will boost that up to over 800
