Gameplay tips and progression |
After you beat World 1-1, talk to the Monumental and start leveling up your stats. When you are done, it is time to do the hardest thing ever. Attempt BOTH World 5-1 and 5-2. When in 5-1, TAKE IT SLOW!!!! Don't rush in there and die. Make sure that you grab the Blessed Mace +1 at the bottom of that pit and use it to save your life. Use Turpentine against Leechmonger and you might just be able to beat him. This next part is really hard and requires the utmost patience. Stay on the far right side of the poison swamp (next to the wooden barricade) you can try and the mirdan hammer and the regenerators ring while your at it. Once at the first fog gate, run past the enemy's and jump down to the other side. DO NOT TRY TO FIGHT THEM!!! Now your going to want to run in a straight path towards the other fog gate. There is a slug on a lone island that will drop the Dull Gold Armor when killed. You now have two options. You can run your way through the village and up to the small path that leads back to the archstone, or you could use a shard of archstone. Not nexial binding because you dont want to lose all of your souls. Once back to the nexus, you can breathe easy again. Wasnt that difficult? After that hellish nightmare, you can go and attempt other EASIER worlds. P.S: if you did do the first choice for leaving world 5-2 and you got the bridge lowered, then when you go back, you will just have to take the shortcut instead of going through the whole level. YAH for planning ahead. The res is up to you Demon Slayers. |
Maiden Astraea
What's all the INT for? You aren't a spellcaster or anything, so it's really unneeded. The priest wastes a point in luck that the temple knight does not and a couple of points in magic, use the temple knight. Like I've said before, the Dark Silver Shield increases your magic defense by a percentage that is most beneficial to faith builds, blocks 100% physical and magical damage and 70% fire, and has 65 hitres at +5. It should always be your go-to if you want a shield to block with. Otherwise use the Adjudicator's shield for the regen. You will only ever need four miracle slots, so Devout prayer is somewhat redundant. Faith builds use blessed weapons, which give off a regenerative aura that eliminates the point of stealth altogether. Don't use the thief's ring, you'll get burned every time. Generally, it's a good idea for a faith build to have the full 40 END since it allows you to wear slightly more armor and gives you more stamina for mobility. The Dull Gold armor set is good, but if you're gonna use an armor that heavy, you might as well have a male character and use the Ancient King's set because it has no stamina penalty and offers similar physical protection with better fire protection. The difference in magdef will be miniscule. I definitely recommend the Claymore as a substitute for the Mirdan Hammer because it has very wide sweeping attacks, a swift attack animation, better damage, and deals normal damage (blunt damage is reduced quite a bit by armors such as the old ragged set). Use the Blessed Knight's sword because it has a higher AR than the short sword. If this build is meant for PvE, it'll work just fine, otherwise it isn't as strong as it could be. You should add me so I can show you a thing or two about certain movesets. Spar with me in the 4-1 sandbox?
