This is a purely for fun build but it can hold its own in pvp if played right. 2 handing the rune sword produces the same stunlock as a long or bbs so swing away. (Dont forget to roll u hve 42 in End for that reason ) You can take points out of strength and put them where ever since dmg scaling frm str on Rune Sword is TERRIBLE. You'll most likely wanna do World 3 first since you get ur Sword/Shield, Armor, Clever/Dull rats ring, and Sage Freke (Warding). Start adding puts to the req for your weps since they are relatively low then pump End and Vit. Dont worry you wont be able to roll in FULL fluted till you have 42 End. it may help if u use RoGS if you just have to roll fully armored early in game. |
Ostrava
you get fluted armore ALOT esaier.
Fun. +1 from me. I will say, though, that you could have Ostrava up and running as low as SL20, by my estimate. Level End up to 19 (+11) and Str up to 12 (+3) and Mag up to 18 (+5) and you should have all you need if you use the ring of great str. I would also say that, overall, this build would be more fun at lower levels, like SL 40 or SL 60(pump vit, get 16 fth, pump more magic and maybe take str up a little bit and it would be a pretty solid build. The magic damage of the sword will cut through most shields you see at SL40 like butter. At higher levels, however, Ostrava will always be the underdog. Maybe that's fitting, too, however.
Edit: I got a SL20 Ostrava up and running. It is a beast! Great for helping out as a blue in those early levels. (Too mean to use as Black P.)
what is the damage increase from 14-30 str? is it worth it? (you could just tell me your physical bonus on the weapon at the str)
The physical bonus from 30 strength is only about an extra 5 AR, possibly less. This is a horrible build because it has extremely low damage output, average vitality, and no alternative weapons. definitely not worth the effort. At least make it a vitality build if you're only gonna use that setup.
