Gameplay tips and progression |
By using inflicting plaque on other players you cut their grass effects in half and you also slow their stamina regen. this gives you a major advantage over all melee builds. with role spamming out of the way, you will have a much easier target to hit. after you land a couple fireballs, they will have no choice but to try and heal. use your homing soul arrow/ ignite to tear a chunk out of their health. if you cant get them infected with plague, no biggie. just keep throwing other spells at them, and every once in awhile try to stick them with plague. plague plus a couple fireball/ ignite hits will break through second chance. This is not only a plague build, but a deadly mage. By taking away half of their healing ability, you will heavily cripple most PvPers. if you are skillful with magic and you infect them with plague, your opponent has no chance. if you have already used up half your mana and have realized the match isn't exactly going in your favor, switch to the insanity catalyst. if you get hit into hyper mode you can easily win by hitting him with fireball while using the icat. |
PvP Voodoo
If you're using both ToB & iCat I would suggest using ToB for the clouds and once you're run ~50% of your mana pool over you can switch to iCat for the remainder at increased casting power.
