The Mediocre One
rating: 0+x

Build summary It's pretty mediocre.
Recommended starting class(es) Well, uh. I started with the Temple Knight. So you could go that route if you fancied the free healing spell.

-Armor-

I suggest mixing heavy with light, for instance gloom armor breastplate and leggings with black leather gloves and the assassin's mask. I quite like the following setup:

*Assassin's Mask
*Coat of plates
*Plate armor gauntlets
*Mirdan Leggings

It gives great protection, is reasonably light, and looks pretty good to boot.

-Weapons-

This guy is more intended for heavier weapons like the great sword/axe and Northern Regalia, but if you wanted to take down the magic, intelligence and or faith to pump up your luck, you could do quite well with the Blueblood Sword.

You might also want to invest in better faith in order to use the Large Sword of Moonlight effectively. It's pretty awesome in PvP.

Also, get yo'self 'dat Knight's Shield and upgrade it +7-ish.

-Consumables-

I'd suggest carrying around some o' these:

*Full Moon marijuana plants
*New Moon marijuana plants
*A couple a' spices
*Plenty of status recovery lotuses (can't be catchin' 'dat plague, foo'.)

If you really wanted to, you could just leave your magic-y stats minimum and pump em' elsewhere. I don't give a funk.

-Rings-

Soul form: Cling Ring - Ring of Great Strength
Body form: Regenerator's Ring/Eternal Warrior's Ring - Ring of Great Strength

The ring of great strength is so your eternally mediocre warrior can roll like a non mediocre warrior… Son.

Recommended spells/miracles

I really only suggest having two Miracles:

*Second Chance
*Evacuate

But if you're into the whole spells business, you can use whatever ya like.

For that reason, the Talisman of God/Beasts is pretty nice to have.

You'll also need that Faith and Intelligence if you actually want to use the aforementioned spells, so unless you don't want them, just follow the guide, fool.

Gameplay tips and progression

Play the game like you normally would, build your character the way I described, and stew in the mediocrity.
