Gameplay tips and progression

Let's be honest here, this build IS NOT going to last you far in NG+ PvP without serious dedication (even then…). It's a simple NG PvP build, centered entirely on making people say "WTF just happen…?". Farming is your friend on this build, whereas trying to actually do anything other than low-mid lvl PvP is not. It's a tedious, annoying build to make without any real functionality outside of NG PvP.

Now you're probably saying "What on God's green F***ing earth could make this build worth my time?". That depends on what kind of person you are. I'm the type of person that will pour hours of my life away to beat down a black phantom with my fist and respond to all the confused/misdirected hate mail with a firm, yet subtle, "Ha ha".

So, assuming you've read this far and haven't clicked the 'Blueblood Swordsman' build yet (Fantastic build for those planning on going on to higher SL's, or even just starting out), I'll continue:

First, our equipment - 2 x Claws + 5 sharp

You can find your first in 3-1, 4F as a treasure, the second in 1-3 as a drop from the assassins. OR, while I'm usually against it, duplicate glitch. Not something I usually do, but this is a fairly weak build play with for FUN, not for serious venture. And CERTAINLY not a build your going to want to spend hours on farming bladestones. So you might as well get started duping now…
There's an entire farming walkthrough on this site for bladestone, and it does work. However, as anyone can tell you, bladestone chunks/pure are TEDIOUS to get. For this build I, farmed until I got 1 pure bladestone and went to duplicating. Yeah, it's cheating, but hey, if you want to spend 15 hours build this, then be my guest.

So you've farmed, and now you have your TWO +5 Sharp Claws, and your feelin' like Wolverine from the X-Men. You're character model probably even looks just like him. You can lie to me, but you can't lie to yourself. Moving on:

Equipment #2 Old King's Armor Set/ Eternal Warriors Ring.

You might be at the point where you can embarrass some BP's, but your not going to fist pound your way to Glory on Old King Doran. No, if you try, he will show your up your then you with it. Yeah. So here's what we'll do! Go to 5-1, Destroy Leechmonger! Done? Damn, your quick. Next: 3-1. Save Freke! Finished already?! Whoa. Your good.

So now you have A)Wriggling Demons Soul and B) and old guy named Freke who sits in a corner. Combine Them! Poison Cloud! Finished? No? Alright, I'll wait…

Sweet! Here's the easy part, die and go into soul form!

Dead? Good! …er. Kinda good. Stay in soul form.

Now, assuming you've already kill Ostrava and gained the key, run to the Mausoleum. After you've made short work of the Red-eye Knight, equip the theifs ring, and unequip everything else, with the exception of a catalyst. Open the Mausoleum door, and WALK toward the pillars to the right side of the room. From here, you should be able to cast Poison cloud on the old king until he's a corpse. If it's not hitting him. Just inch closer until you can lock on, then smack him with it. He should just sit there like a good boy and die. After you knock off around 25% of his health, he'll say some blurb about your so great and you may take the sword. Ignore and continue to poison him. Then at 50%, he should ramble about you challenging him. If you've done everything right so far, have the theifs ring equipped, and are in soul form, standing as far as you can away from him whilst remaining locked on, he should just say his piece, and stand still as he wilts away. OLD KINGS DEAD! YAY! Steal his stuff!

Congrats! You've finished the build! Will it be worth it?! Probably not, but I play with this same build all the time, usually farming BP's on 4-2 in NG and it's a blast. If you stay in the 40-50's sl, you'll be able to smash BP's. By smash I mean do a good amount of damage using the claws, and seriously confuse and worry your opponent. Sometimes even kill them!

If you've read this far, and you were expecting some serious build, well, you miss the 6 or so times I've said this builds for FUN ONLY. Sorry 'boutchyer luck, partner.
