Why raise your Strength so high when you only need 34 to use a Quality weapon in two hands at hardcap values?
Good question, its because at 34 str and 50 dex ur claymore isnt 99.9% guaranteed to kill you opponent in 2 or 3 hits, the exception is phantoms and host with warding spell of course. Also i created a build that was 34 str and 50 dex and found it wanting in little areas in some online pvp instances. Thats what pushed me to amp up the power in the build. Not 2 mention if you want to use Kiji and CW, its….. its just beast. PLUS almost all other builds can kill you in 4 hits regardless of how high your vit stat is so, in my opinion its better to dish out more AR than to try to fight trading blows. Make the opponent think twice about taking you head on when 3/4s of his hp is suddenly gone in 1 swing. :)
Even the second variation has a good % chance to 3 hko your opponent. Now im saying 3 hits because most people use second chance just for everyone's info. And if you read the AR charts and add some type of PCT or PWT your estoc and even smaller weapons will be dishing around 500 to 550 AR possibly more in some cases.
Your quality uchis will deal more damage than any average Dex build as well. You can even look at the AR charts on my posted dex build to compare these to builds ARs. Good question
lol i take that back, your estoc is guaranteed to deal more than 500 AR. Because if wiki has it right and my AR charts are correct (which they are) the 301 AR your estoc deals while 2handing it is augmented by Your current Foe's/Friend's ring 20% then your current CT (PBCT or PWCT) another 20%. Then you add your WT, which will vary from no boost in AR to 10% increase in AR. And of course you are a blue, black or red phantom at the time so there's another undefined boost there even. Now since you are in another persons world you would need to add their WT not yours. But anyway all these augmentations is crazy @_@ your Estoc will in the end on average deal……. the math is confusing lol Much much more than 550 lol Even if the % increase works like adding it to your 301 base AR. YIKES just re read WT and it can give a 20% increase. Im starting to think there is a catch to this tho.
I also noticed a typo…though I'd LOVE to have an AR of 3341 with my uchigatanas! Anyways, this is a pretty awesome build. The only thing I'd suggest is a bit more Endurance, just in case, miraculously, the third hit doesn't kill your opponent. Nevertheless, +1.
Thanks i cant believe i didn't notice that till now. Oh and endurance is a little overrated here. That comes down to your skill as a player. Deciding how best to use your level of endurance. Ive fought people who claim to have a endurance of 13 and there duel wielding estoc and utchi, and they beat me lol.

I hear raising str from 34-50 is only a 5% gain while two handing crushing weapons, considering the bonus from strength on quality weapons is something like 1/2 that of crushing i imagine this increase from 34 is less influencial.
As I see it quality builds are 2handed builds just like crushing. If you chose to 1hand you're losing potential damage you've already paid for, so I don't see any point in going to 50. 33-34 seems like a logical point to stop pumping str.
the 16 points from strength could easily be used to buff out your vit & endurance, 19 is waaay too low (at least for me).
Seems to me like the cons greatly outweigh the pros of slightly more damage, potential chance to ohko someone… The style doesn't work for me, but it could for you, I'm not really all about ohkos.

My writing is often convoluted, so I'm not offended you went on the defensive just to clarify: but I never meant to compare crushing/quality weapons @ 50/50… I was just pointing out that the gain from 34-50 is minimal, dismal & thus is a source of many wasted stats, which could be more valuable /w endurance (which is my point of view & may conflict entirely /w your 3hit gameplan).
M0ose, your a good player and you mean well. But seriously you throw a monkey in my wrench with your confusing comments. The Build is specified to acheive the best posible chance to 4hko or 3hko your oppenent, while still having enough Vit to take 3 to 4 blows from a CW kiji or similar weapon matchup.
P.S. im defensive cause ive played this game for far to long.
I know you don't want anyone to point out the obvious, but End is far too low… stupid to suggest rolling with a GS or GAxe with 20 End. Moose is right… cut from Str to add to End.

I rated this build once and only once. If you have so much character, then you should try responding to the criticism, rather than attacking your critic.
You made a weak build, and you got called on it… you can change the subject all you want, but it's still a weak build.
And trust me, if I wanted to wreck your stats unfairly, you wouldn't have a +2 right now.
Lols its actually a very good build. I probably dont respond to critism very well but, what you doing is all out attacking a build that you haven't tried yet in hopes of making yourself sound superior. I am really tired of negative people like you.
If the AR gains you are getting from this build over standard Dex and Str builds is less than 30 AR, then you're better off with 50 Vit and 34 Str. I understand that End is low, which can prove to be a problem when you're on the offensive: shorter sprint bursts, far less combo ability, and far less feint/counters. Kilij could potentially suffer from the small Stamina pool due to it's infamous spamming ability and reliance… My only suggestion, if it doesn't mess up anything crucial that I'm overlooking, is to lower Str to 34 where the AR hardcap is and to raise Vitality or Endurance to 50 (Vit) or 30 (End).

Since OP does not want debate, he wants his 'unique' build justififed by others, and if not, he wants curse out whoever disagrees…I wont get into the specifics, i have played and built 4 quality builds with other 'veteran' players, and this is the worst Ive seen, and will not even do what OP claims…this build is 1 wiff= death…Space, Moose, Vallarfax, are all correct…and H3LLs numbers and charts are fancy but incorrect, as i have checked against mine by upping stats…
If you want the variety of a Quality build, you can have it sl120 or 125…2h stance is whats its all about for damage. DONT take str past 34 and i dont even bother with dex over 30 or 33…and it works fine, like every other build, H3lls argument is for more damage, and that is not everything, survivability is key and for someone to claim to be a "veteran player" and have 24 endurance, is deluded. and 10 magic???? have you ever heard of hijacking frekes spell, and cracked TOB…Im shocked honestly, and want to continue berating this build cos it makes me sick…

IF you are looking for insane knockout power, use EWGFs vitality gouged cursed DBS build found in his guide, or a standard North Regalia vitality gouged build in hyper mode, Meat cleaver or Great axe build…this build will not deliver as promised. and when you swing once and roll once and are out of stamina, prepare for the backstab…
Also, a good rule of thumb most people know (i thought) DONNOT play with less than 30-40 endurance on any build…

You can as ask anyone that ive fought with a claymore and they will tell you that its been three and three hits only While ive been in blue or red form??? U MAD BRO?
Uhh, you might want to listen to your critics. They seem to have a lot more sense when it comes to their building.
