Gameplay tips and progression |
The build mainly focuses on maximizing damage in the Knight Sword with what can be a devastating Great Axe. I mainly use this build for invading and red eye dropping, cause of its versatility. There is really no other build out there you cant compete with. Some weapons might have an advantage over the knight sword but not the great axe also. In an invasion your best friend is the great axe. When faced with a host with one maybe two blue phantoms first objective is to take out the weakest blue. Which is the great axes specialty. Landing a couple rolling attacks is a good way to loosen things up. I find myself taking out most blue phantoms in 2 to 3 hits which will leave the host stunned. Never take your knight sword out when faced with three enemies, you will get back stabbed in the middle of every combo attempt. Note taking on three at one time is not very hard, taking advantage of the levels environment is highly recommended. This means running past them in the level and teaming with there unfinished enemies, drawing them into narrow corridors or just running back and forth through the level until you single one out. When taking on two at once i do find myself successfully pulling of a knight sword finish but you need to be careful. First never give up your back, if there both in front of you that's good. Pull off a couple running attacks or a short combo and retreat. If you find yourself wounding but not finishing try quickly pulling out the great axe for the KO blow (still has 394 attack unenchanted). Now the 1 v 1 part of the invasion. First know your opponents weapon and have the experience to know which one you will then use. Some opposing weapons can go either way thou. In that case i like to find out its strength and the users skill then decide which weapon to first enchant. |
502 Crushing Knight Sword
Admittedly, I thought I would come in here to see a somewhat worthless build, but this has some rather effective power behind it. +1
