Gameplay tips and progression |
Focus on levelling your Endurance and Vitality until they're about mid 20s. Then, you'll want to level up your Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence so you can use heavier weaponry and have more spell slots. Once they're up to the specification, you'll want to put enough into Strength, Dexterity, Magic and Faith to effectively wield the Northern Regalia (20/14/12/12, you can put a little bit more in Magic and Faith at this point if you like). After you can wield the Northern Regalia effectively, put the reamining levels into Vitality and Endurance. When they're done, finish off the rest of the specification. This build operates on a risk/reward basis. Use normal attacks against normal enemies and use Hyper Mode for bosses and Black Phantoms only. As a soul, I'd tend towards using Second Chance because Warding won't boost your defence enough to be useful. In body form however, I'd use Warding because of the defensive benefit from the Dull Rat's Ring and Warding. |
