Homing soul arrow

Gameplay tips and progression

This build was my very first, however it's taken a long time to perfect. My LW Cleaver build inspired the idea behind this build. It is mainly designed for hosting, so keep that in mind. I've basically supplemented the concept of the spellsword with optimal use of the ToB for the SL. If taken t the 140's you can hardcap magic at 50 and really deal some damage.

if you wish to proceed above SL 140, which is not highly recommended except for PvE only, get MAG to 50, FTH to 50, VIT to 50, INT to 40, and END to 40 (SL 188). At 50, you reach a point called a "hardcap" which means the gains in damage per point are extremely small. Again, it's recommended that you stay between 120 and 140.

If you wanna mix it up, use light weapon with the iCat on your favorite enchantable weapon. I recommend the Meat Cleaver because it already has 156 magAR that you can add to. If you like pure melee, check out my LW Cleaver build. It plays similarly, but is much sturdier at the cost of spell-casting ability.

Overall, try different strategies, find what works for you as you have a wide range of possibilities.

AND A FINAL THANKS TO NICK, AS THIS BUILD WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT HIS SPELLSWORD BUILD.
