Gameplay tips and progression

In the beginning of the game, treat this character like a Meat Cleaver build. After beating Phalanx, increase Vitality & Endurance until you're comfortable, then increase Strength, Dexterity, & Faith. Go to 4-1 for the Crescent Falchion +1 and Compound Long Bow. Beat the Adjudicator, then go to Stonefang and defeat the Armor Spider & Flamelurker using you're shiny new Crescent Falchion. Make sure you get the Club from 2-2. Get Ed to make your club into the Meat Cleaver. Once you have your mighty Cleaver, you can go around and beat the rest of the worlds in whatever order you want. Make sure to use the Silver Demon's Soul for Light Weapon and the Hero Demon's Soul for Second Chance.

Being a Quality build, the stats are spread a bit thin, and adding Magic into the mix just makes it worse, but the extra damage from Light Weapon should make it worth it. 40 Vitality is the bare minimum for melee PvP, and should be enough to let you take a few hits. 15 Intelligence gives you the spell slots & MP you need for both Light Weapon and Second Chance. 40 Endurance is the stopping point for max stamina, which will keep you from taking damage in the first place. 26 Strength is enough to one-hand the bigger weapons, like the Great Axe/Great Sword, and two-handing your weapons brings it to 39, about equal to your 40 Dexterity. 30 Magic is where Light Weapon stops giving good damage increases. 16 Faith is just enough for you to remember Second Chance, and 7 Luck is base.

The high soul level of this build pretty much limits it to hosting and using the Red Eye Stone for dueling in the SL 120 range, but hosting works in this build's favor. Due to limited hand-slots, this build can't equip a talisman and the ICat at the same time. However, as a host, you can equip a talisman to cast Second Chance, then switch to the ICat and commence battling.

Please comment on this build. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!!!
