This build is for quick dodge attacks. It does 406 base damage on both uchis with no buff, plus whatever you hit with Moving Soul Arrow will be one-hit kills. A Dark Ninja at lvl 140 does more than the dex build at full Dex stat (99) without buffs. Enjoy… Oh! this is a PVP build. |
this build seems great but there are things to consider…first, saying the moon uchi's do 406 base without buff, well, they cant be buffed…and comparing it a dex build that is maxed out at 99 dex, i cant say as that comparison eludes me..but, consider damage, moon weapons are not pure physical damage, whereas a dex, strength build is base damage with pure physical damage which can then be buffed how you see fit, add fire, add magic or more phys with cursed..in which case, even if the number is lower in the stats column, you are doing more physical damage which is more reliable for a number of reasons…this is close to alot of BBS build, just throw 4 points into dex and with light weapon on a bbs you'll do higher damage…also, PvP on american servers is most populated between 120-130…
all the figures may not add up completely or may not be best but the idea behind the build isnt half bad, a movement inpired melee caster, gonna make a few tweaks and try it out for myself, thx for posting :D
I love this build more than the BBS and the MC builds, even more than my pure mage build. I was hesitant and wanted to change things up every once in a while but I stayed the path and keep building exactly the way you have it. Its just been great, people always say to up 33 end to 40 but I'never felt a need too. I've felt this really fits my style. I never had a need for firespray tho thats the only thing lol.
50 magic is where you benefit most from the points, any higher and the damage gained from each point is significantly reduced (-3 SL's). 13 DEX is the minimum req for uchigatanas, no need for the extra point there (-1 SL). Take VIT down to 40 (-14 SL's) and up END to 40 (+7 SL's). With these stats, your build will have the full stamina bar, better armor, and a lower SL that is closer to optimal PvP range (SL 129). Have you also thought about trying fatal weapons? a good ninja specializes in dodging and can get behind his enemies often… Even better than the Moon Sais would be a moon mirdan hammer because it eats through stamina bars much better while retaining the same versatility.
i did a demon mage build… i put 99 magic instead of 70 your magic damage doesnt go down at all, who ever you got that from is a moron. after 95 magic you get only a 20 damage boost for Light Weapon but all of your other offencsive spells gain a ton of damage

moon weapons scale terribly therefore…. you actually only need 25 magic instead of 53. crescent +5 uchi does as much dmg as dual wield moon uchi so consider that. WAYYYYY too much vit, this build is meant for dodging, yes? then you need end not vit and second chance requires 16 faith to use… so you have 2 spare stats there along with all your magic if you stick with moon weapons and a lot of un needed vit. for a dark ninja build…. i think pushed ToB ninja would be the correct stats for dark ninja, get ICAT switch out fire spray for soul ray, which goes great with HSA
I just made a lower SL of this build can't wait for PSN to come back to give it a whirl
i am going to try this build i have been trying builds for a while now i bet this will be a great build.
