I suggest Binded set for females and Ancient kings for males(take off that mask and boots of it and replace with Venerable Sage Hood and Shaman's Tabi or Venerable Sage Boots) |

Gameplay tips and progression |
Since almost anything can be Quality and your STR and DEX will almost be as high as one of those dedicated builds you can do whatever you like. |
Quality Build (SL140~)
rly good build i recommend , have a variation of this my self.
good weapons are quality Estoc you can 2H and get quite a nice range with a fast stabbing weapon.
Also against shield users you can 2H a Quality Shotel, often can kill them before there stamina is even drained.
Both these weps will effectively gain from your strength bonus wielding them 2H that you wouldn't get from any other build (pure strength and quality weps dont work)
Been looking for a quality Quality build (Lol) and this looks like it will work quite nicely!
Thank you.

Well done.
Just imagining the look on someone's face when you're using a Katana and they pull out the MH thinking "I have you now" only to have you FLATTEN them with a Great Axe or the Meat Cleaver.
It's golden.
Some shocking switch-ups might be: Spear and Greatsword, Shotel and Mirdan Hammer, or Uchigatana and Great Axe
To be honest, i have gone up against 8 different quality builds in the past, and i have demolished them in seconds. im not trying to say that this is a "bad build", but considering what ive gone up against, it wasnt anything special…..

Haha. Well it depends on the player not just the build. Quality builds for 1) can out damage a str build most of the time. and have comparable damage to dex builds. and 2) pretty much allow you to use every weapon in the game. which allows for odd mix ups in weapon sets.
Even a Mace is something to fear. haha
A very good Q build i like it

The soul level is a bit high, even if you purely host. If you compensate a bit for the strength increase from 2-handing, you can lower it to ~125. My setup would have 30STR and 45DEX or some similar variation. Preferred weapons: quality kilij/estoc and either the great axe or the crescent axe (crescent providing greater range and combo-ability).
@DemonFyre: this is by no means a weak build, especially since the burst damage is immense. The quality of the fight is directly proportional to the quality of the player. A shitty player will easily fall into combos or whiff attacks that lead to backstabs. A good matchup is one in which you cannot seem to hit each other except in instances of lag. Right?
vit + 10, str - 10, and you'd be a lot closer to a good build.
have similar-
50 vit, 40 strength, 47-48 dex
strongggg damage with quality weapons.

now that's what I'm talking about. Still play Demon's Souls SL125 quality build using 45/45 dex/strength. Very nice, sexy build my friend. SL 125 just take intelligence to 11(still powerful tank without curse, just use BTurp, or SWS)
Stats:
Vit-45
Endurance-30(if comfortable playing with 30 instead of higher)
Dex-45
Strength-45
Faith-16
Luck-Def
Magic-Def
Int-11(use SC, Silver catalyst cast SC)
