This is for the guy who wants to tear people in half in PvP. Upgrade Makoto to +5 asap and get a Lava bow as soon as you can. This build is a powerhouse that can not only take a hit but can do some serious dmg very quickly. You will be doing dmg on par if not above most at level 100+ and be roughly 25 levels before them with no farming required. Make sure to always cast Warding to give you added protection and try to dodge/block spells considering that will be your only weak point. I keep a dark silver in my offhand when dual wielding and switch over to that when I run into a mage. Your Stamina can take the hit and you should still have some left over to 2-3 shot them. Combine this build with the Thief ring and black eye stone for hours of backstabbing PvP fun :D |

If you go all out stealthy, Makoto (life drain), and DSS, Adju Shield, Regenerator's, and of course Warding auras will expose your location. I'd add a non life draining, non aura generating weapon for a secondary stealthy backstabbing weapon. :)

might as well get 22 str if you are going to get 21 , so you can use purple shield in pve . Else 18 str is enough to 1 hand makoto .
And if you really want to be super pro , get another +5 makoto from NG+ and offhand it.
Seems that having 2 of them doesnt make you lose health any faster like you might think.
Indeed. Makoto's health drain doesn't stack, as far as I've seen. Full agreement with everything Grailer said.
