I'm sure those with Banish, Graverobber's Ring and any other thing that is good against BP's would go there too often. How about an arena, where you can challenge any past monster? For example, you could fight both the Dragons, and we could perhaps view NPC fights? That would give the answer to Penetrator vs Tower Knight, amongst other. Perhaps a betting thing?

TWO TIMES while invading, I went in unnoticed. This meaning I can get in front of him and attack him, and he wouldn't see, and I couldn't do any damage. Everything I did in that world was undone. I had to leave, giving up a soul level.

New Forums Are Open

Old forums will remain online and you may post (but not create new threads) until Monday, May 24th at 5:00PM EDT. After the old forums will be set to archive mode and you can no longer post.

Well, I have been working on this for quite a while now, and between real life and work it did not progress as fast as I had hoped.

As many of you are aware the forums here on Wikidot leave a lot to be … desired. Wikidot will be the first one to tell you that they are not designed, nor intended, to host forums. So, I have opened a new location where we can have a fully featured (and for most of you familiar) messaging board. Registration is quick and painless.

The moderators of the forums and I have been testing things out and tweaking issues that we find. However, we are sure there will be some things we have missed. Please let us know of any issues you encounter, and we will address them as soon as possible.

Make sure you read the rules from the start, because you will be held accountable for your actions. Ignorance is no excuse. The rules are posted at the top of every single forum.

It can happen in a lag-free game aswell. I don't really see why the animation is necessary when the damage is nullified but thats how she goes. Getting backstabbed from 20ft away however definetly is lag and there are players who definetly use that to their advantage.

Many thanks to BiONiC-ALiEN for help with this sad situation. I am cured of my Pure Bladestone-itis.

Ha, funny thing as soon as I had a Sharp weapon given to me, I went back just to get some souls and got a Pure Bladestone. For the record, I did it without the LSOS and I was using Soulsucker exclusively on the Dual Katana BP.

I've died so many times that it's probably hard to have just one most irritating death, but… When I first started playing the game this used to happen to me more that I like to think. I'd lock onto a foe who would fall or as in the case of the geckos run off a cliff or edge and I'd follow them over. What usually happened is I'd be mashing R1 and the lock on would act like a magnet and pull me along with whoever I was attacking. This was more irritating than simply running off a cliff after a gecko. It happened to me when trying to kill an archer on the 2nd tower of the dragon's bridge, it happened in Latria when fighting gargoyles on the bridge and on the winding stairs up a tower and when fighting Maneater, it happened when attacking a skeleton in Shrine of Storms, and it happened in Valley of Defilement up on the wooden planks and in the area above the plague babies.

I think this happened way too much to me especially at first so I try now not to spam R1 if I can help it.

Yes, that's exactly true-some people have pure luck not governed by the luck stat in the game. I will keep trying until frustration takes over.

I have tried taking along the LSOS and had it equipped. I now have all the suckerstone chunks I have since of course I go backwards from the Old Hero's archstone to get to the BP dual katana. I also have so much sticky white stuff it's coming out my ears-yes, that's sticky white stuff. And, on more than one occasion I've seen a very funny thing happen. I kill the reaper at the top of the stairs using my sticky bow and he pops up into the ceiling, taking his darkmoonstone with him. I don't care since I don't need anymore darkmoonstone at this moment, it's just funny to see.

Not necessarily true. This really seems more of a random drop in my opinion. I have 12 luck. I have Shrine of Storms in PBWT. I have worked on both skeletons for hours. Plenty of shards and chunks of Bladestone. Uchigatanas. Soul Remains. That's it. And, as I pointed out before, I have tried several different killing methods including strictly melee, strictly soul ray, soul ray with melee killing blow, soul sucker. I have worked on the BP dual katana guy in 3-4 hour periods and more for the hidden passage dual katana guy.

What strategy did you use when you got the 2 drops in one hour? Just wondering because I don't know if it matters.

bladestone farming sucks. More so because some people can get 5 in a single day while other people take 30+ hours of farming to not get a single one, like me.

I dont like duping, but PBS is the only item ive let slide
