New Forums Are Open

Old forums will remain online and you may post (but not create new threads) until Monday, May 24th at 5:00PM EDT. After the old forums will be set to archive mode and you can no longer post.

Well, I have been working on this for quite a while now, and between real life and work it did not progress as fast as I had hoped.

As many of you are aware the forums here on Wikidot leave a lot to be … desired. Wikidot will be the first one to tell you that they are not designed, nor intended, to host forums. So, I have opened a new location where we can have a fully featured (and for most of you familiar) messaging board. Registration is quick and painless.

The moderators of the forums and I have been testing things out and tweaking issues that we find. However, we are sure there will be some things we have missed. Please let us know of any issues you encounter, and we will address them as soon as possible.

Make sure you read the rules from the start, because you will be held accountable for your actions. Ignorance is no excuse. The rules are posted at the top of every single forum.

Where can i get them from.I know there r 2 on dead body in 4-3(That's only 2 per playthrough),and flying mantas only give me shards.How can i farm flying mantas in 4-2?When i kill them they all go into sea,don't leave me anything.Help

Best way to get Talisman of the Beasts

What is the Best way for me to get the Talisman of the Beasts? Let me start of by saying that Ostrava aggro'd on me and I had to kill him in 1-1. so with that in mind: Can I still do the Mephistopheles quest to get it? or am I better off doing the scrivir BP in 2-3?

Having trouble getting Clearstones

I have gone to 2-2 to get clearstones, but after getting all the geckos, they do not reappear. I tried moving my world tendency to black, but they still have not returned. Any suggestions?

When i first began playing, any video game at all, i tend to buy 99 of every healing item

Final Fantasy is a good example, 99 of every potion

As currency is experience in this game, i think i may have over killed this game a bit
99 of every grass except dark, 99 spices, and i resupply any time i lose any, OCD, i don't feel safe without the #99 protecting me
my only reason for me worrying about this is, currency is experience and i think i may have lost at least 10 potential lvls doing this

how much do the pros carry around with them?

Ephemeral Eyes / World Tendency

Trying to turn world PBWT so that I can farm some ephermal stones. So I started invading as a BP and killed a few people and got killed myself quite a lot. But everytime I was revived I suicided on world 4 to bring the WT to pure black. It for some reason is turning darker but my world 2 which was PB is now neutral. How did that happen? I have not been back to that world since I received my pure greystone. Is anything that im doing on PvP effecting this? Any ideas how this could happen?

hi guys..
iv been farming the black skele in the secret passage in 4-2 with PBWT for a while now
must have killed it about 100 times by now, but still no pure
iv got about 70 bladestone shards 20 chunks some soul remains and a few katanas, but still no pure
how long did it take you to get it? and is there an easier way to farm for them?

Chunks / Large Shards Of Hardstone...

Trying to get a few more chunks / large shards of hardstone so I can upgrade my Short Sword +7 to a SS+8 which I can then, in turn, combine with the Storm Demon's soul to create my Morion Blade.

Been farming 2-1 and 2-2 allllllllllll night because I had read those were the best locations for Chunks / Large Shards of Hardstone.

Most specifically, for the Chunks, from the big glowing heated up in the forge iron sword wielding scale miners.

But so far I have yet to collect a single one tonight, deliberately wasted a bunch of Body Stones (real name is too long) so I could suicide and bring the WT down from PW to PB to increase my stone farming results.

Is there a better way to go about this?

Does stealth stack?

I was wondering if anyone can confirm that the various stealth items and spells stack?

It certainly seems that normal stealth (Thief's Ring, Cloak) and Black Phantom stealth (Graverobber's Ring, Hidden Soul) stack with each other (I've walked pretty close to Satsuki without him seeing me), but I'm wonder if Thief's Ring and Cloak stack. If they do, it would be very useful for gecko hunting.

Can anyone confirm whether Thief's Ring and Cloak stack with each other?

Stones, can't get what you want

When ore farming, you never get what you want, you always get a different from of what was needed
Example:
Spent 5 hours trying to get pure darkmoonstone, all i got was chunks
Vice versa in a different score

Am i the only one with this bad luck?

If you are having trouble I have a method I need tested out. I haven't seen anybody else trying to do this so I was wondering if it works at all. The method under the farming tree regarding the Crow in 4-1 states using a black eyed stone to dup the colorless demon soul.

So could somebody inform me if this doesn't work. Couldn't you just buy as many talismans of God from the filthy woman in world 5 and keep dropping them at the crow's tree? It would be fast and easy.

Hi guys,

just as u can expect, I´m gonna talk about chunks of faintstone.
I´m farming for Blessed Mirdan Hammer +5(currently at +4).
I just need three to go but they never drop. I tried every world tendency but nothing has changed. I farm those two shamans near the Dirty Colossus Archstone. I always get shards but no chunks. Are they just too rare for a common drop or am I doing something wrong?

I am raising a dex character and am trying to get a pure bladestone from black skele in hidden passage pbwt .
Spent hours and hours on it with no luck getting 1 . I just want to know if is possible to get 1 on 1st play through or do i have to wait till NG ?

Pure Cloudstone from 4-1 Flying Mantas

Just need a Pure Darkmoonstone (which I missed this time round) and a Pure Cloudstone. I read that you can get the Pure Cloudstone from the Flying Mantas in 4-1, albeit very rare. Has anyone managed to get one from here? If it really is that rare, then I'll just grab it in NG with the Darkmoonstone.

So I think I have pure white character tendancy. I glow blue in the tendancy screen,

Ostrava Drop

So I save him both times and haven't killed him. After I rescue Biorr, Ostrava disapears from the Nexus. When I go to 1-4 Boss after defeating the Blue dragon, he isn't there. Just the BP Ostrava and I have to wait unti NG till I can get the keys and fight the king. It's a real pain in the ace. I have tried an two different builds. Same result. The first time I thought it was me and something I missed so in NG I just killed him after saving him the second time. But this new build it happened again and I can't figure out what I did wrong. Followed the wiki close so I wouldn't miss it.

Any ideas?
