New Forums Are Open

Old forums will remain online and usable until Monday, May 24th at 5:00PM EDT . Then the old forums will be set to archive mode and you can no longer edit.

Well, I have been working on this for quite a while now, and between real life and work it did not progress as fast as I had hoped.

As many of you are aware the forums here on Wikidot leave a lot to be … desired. Wikidot will be the first one to tell you that they are not designed, nor intended, to host forums. So, I have opened a new location where we can have a fully featured (and for most of you familiar) messaging board. Registration is quick and painless.

The moderators of the forums and I have been testing things out and tweaking issues that we find. However, we are sure there will be some things we have missed. Please let us know of any issues you encounter, and we will address them as soon as possible.

Make sure you read the rules from the start, because you will be held accountable for your actions. Ignorance is no excuse. The rules are posted at the top of every single forum.

Can't release Sage

So I went up and got the jailers special key, when i go to Sage's cell in 3-1 it still says the cell appears to be locked… according to THIS WIKI and IGN's walk through I SHOULD be able to release him, and according to this wiki, he is pretty important since i am using a ton of magic….

* To unlock him…
* Get the 'Jailers Special key' from on top of a tower near the 'Liar', right before the 3-1 boss' area.
* Return to Freke's cell and unlock it.
* Upon talking to him, he gives the Geri's Stiletto.
* Next time you return to the Nexus he will appear near his apprentice.

I have left and gone back to the nexus, i can gone back to see if i missed the key somehow or there is another… what am i doing wrong or did i get the worlds WORST possible glitch for my build….

Lost items on 3-1

Hey all. I was a bit encumbered with my inventory and picked up the fluted armor and noticed there was a sword and shield in the same location in 3-1. i had to go back to the nexus and store some stuff and when I came back, the sword and shield was gone.

would anyone happen to know how to get this stuff back?

New Glitch Found?

Apparently, you can skip through every single level of the Tower of Latria through a glitch. I'd rather not say how to do it (I will if people want me to, but meh), but one second I'm in 3-1, the next I got transported to the boss room. Has anybody else encountered this?

Rydell Keys

Hello,

Im trying to get the keys to free Rydell from Latria 3-1. I have PWWT and when i climbed the stairs the bridge is broken so i cant walk up to get the keys.

Am i missing something? I thought if you have PWWT you can proceed up the stairs to the key?

Help…

Rune Sword & Shield 3-2

According to the map on this wiki, I'm to walk off a ledge at the top of the heart tower to get the Rune Sword & Shield.

I must be walking off the wrong ledge. I bounce off the edge of the little walkway below, and die every time I try.

Could someone please explain where to find the correct edge to walk off, and if there is a certain angle I should face as I try.

Prison Of Hope, Floor 2 East Glitch

I'm probably not the only one who's dealt with this glitch in world 3-1, but I acquired the Prison of Hope 2F W Cell Key in world 3-2, and I went back to 3-1 and rescued Rydyell. However, I can't open the gate (at the top of the steps) for the East side of the Second Floor. That means that I can't get the 2F E Cell Key, which means I can't get the Rogue's set, the Paring Dagger, and some Mercurystone chunks. Fortunately, It's not my first playthrough with this particular character, so I already have those items, but I still want access to that area.

So, my question is, aside from waiting for the next game, does anyone know of a way to get the 2F E gate to open, once the glitch occurs?
