New Forums Are Open

Old forums will remain online and you may post (but not create new threads) until Monday, May 24th at 5:00PM EDT. After the old forums will be set to archive mode and you can no longer post.

Well, I have been working on this for quite a while now, and between real life and work it did not progress as fast as I had hoped.

As many of you are aware the forums here on Wikidot leave a lot to be … desired. Wikidot will be the first one to tell you that they are not designed, nor intended, to host forums. So, I have opened a new location where we can have a fully featured (and for most of you familiar) messaging board. Registration is quick and painless.

The moderators of the forums and I have been testing things out and tweaking issues that we find. However, we are sure there will be some things we have missed. Please let us know of any issues you encounter, and we will address them as soon as possible.

Make sure you read the rules from the start, because you will be held accountable for your actions. Ignorance is no excuse. The rules are posted at the top of every single forum.

So I have been hearing a fair bit of talk regarding the action rpg Nier. Was considering picking this up and would like to hear some thoughts on the game rather than trust the commercialized game reviews out these days ^_^

Hello dears DS' gamers,

I introduce myself as a young person (I'm 24), but a gamer for loooooong time.
Demon's Souls is my new addiction and this wiki is my bible.

This is my very first thread here but I take a look very often on DSWiki. Thanks to every gamers here and the creator, this wiki is very useful and full of informations.

My request's to translate this awesome database in French. I know that would takes some hours of works but I'm aware of this.
Maybe if I could just begin with the most important parts (as classes, or world's informations) it'll be great.

I know my english is not perfect, but translate some texts to French is easier to me.

Still my favorite series of shooters for the PS2 - the three games in the series were all simply amazing,

Excellent multiplayer with a frightening amount of bots and customization options, a CRAZY amount of stuff / characters to unlock, INCREDIBLY difficult optional challenges to complete, really cool 1 player / 2 player co-op single player with a great amount of difference in difficulty and number of objectives between easy and hard, etc.

I only ask because I am replaying all three, starting with the first, on my PS3, in between bouts of doing whatever it is I am doing in DS NG+.

Anyone else have fond memories of these excellent games?

OK so i was pvping yesterday at 4-1 and met a dude with mirdan hammer who could swing like a sword, long ass pole that swings like a sword, i didn't even get a chance to hit the dude!!!!

ring of the moon- increase magical dmg on weapons

ring of life- increase hp by 500 hp (rare)

I summoned a player who put down his/her red soul sign in the narrow corridor of the beginning of 4-2, right? They seemed to take decades to spawn; I longed so for a battle…
Anyways, as they spawned I gave the common courtesy to bow… bad idea. This wasn't an honorable bout. They rushed me with dual katanas half-way through my bow lol. Three rolls and one new grass later and I was on the prowl. He/she pressed with their katanas. I rolled back to dodge, I rolled forward to invoke a swing (he swung) , and rolled back twice to dodge and let loose a soul ray… BAAAM. Massive damage lol. They roll out of sight (thief's ring), whip out dark silver shield in their left hand and heal themselves all at once… Naturally I chase. Damn that dark silver shield!!!, I thought. My homing soul arrow is drained to nothing… they swing/I roll back and cast… too late… dark silver shield is up again… damage drained to zero. I cast homing soul arrow and he/she puts up dark silver shield again, walking slowly towards me…(obviously thinking im a pure mage noob and my cast would just be absorbed) I wait a second as they approach… and quickly roll behind them as homing soul arrow attacks on it's own, piercing their back and winning the battle for me. BLACK PHANTOM blahblahblah HAS BEEN SLAIN. They send hate mail calling me a "lucky *&^%$#@ noob", not realizing the skill it took to pull that off. I respond simply… "put the sign down again"
Instead they invade lol. They attempt to run and roll past me and hug the demon horde not far beyond me… (once again making the deadly assumption that just because I wielded a kris blade and insanity catalyst that I was a pure mage noob) I quickly pressed right weapon change to my Moon Great Sword +5 and roll attacked them… needless to say they flew to the ground with a little less than half of their health gone. I rolled past in-between them and the demons as they were on the ground and even gave them a chance to heal …cause… im nice like that :) …
I casted homing soul arrow and they dodged (still getting hit by homing soul arrow but the attack being drained to zero) with dark silver shield up into my R2, R1 attack combo. GET DOWN BIOTCH! lol. As they we're immobilized and getting up from the ground they dodged and I hit them with a single soul ray. BLACK PHANTOM blahblahblah HAS BEEN SLAIN. I then messaged him again "It was a pleasure being taught such great battle tactics… me being a lucky *&^%$#@ noob and all… how you parried my blade with your face was astonishing… wanna invade again?" lol… He didnt reply.
