He will drop a Thief's ring. Which is a ring you can already get in world 1-1 without killing anyone. If you want to kill him, kill him once you get the assassination quest from mephistopheles in your nexus to get another colorless demon soul. Otherwise, not worth it.

He's the only source of heavy arrows when he returns the nexus, otherwise he's useless.
The only reason to kill NPC's is after Mephisopheles arrives to get a few toys from her.

Probably a loss of Tendency, similar to killing any other NPC, and the same drops if you kill him anywhere else.
