Defeating Black Phantoms online will push you towards white.

It's just that the average is white, so yours is kept white everytime you go back. If the average world tendency would be black, yours would be dark when you enter the nexus.

If you want to keep World 2 black, keep offline until you are done. It's happened to me before (I forgot) and my world went back to neutral. Had to use a few Ephemeral Eyes to get it black again.

Co-op does not affect *your* own world tendency but will affect your character tendency. Same applies to invading. Killing a boss as a blue-phantom shifts your CT towards white. Killing a host/phantom as a Black Phantom (or any other NPC) shifts CT towards black.
You will need to do these if you want the Friend and Foe Rings.

Also, does killing a boss as a blue phantom in another players game affect the World Tendancy of your own world? Like if I go kill the armored Spider as a blue phantom, does that move the WT of my Stonefang towards white?
