Still play both on occasion when I get the itch. Right now my other game preoccupying my time is Red Dead Redemption.

ok, I gave it a second change to the game and now I cannot stop playing it hahaha. It is quite good actually :) I notice of course that a lot of things got better in Fallout 3, but I can still enjoy it.

Oh man, I bet you all picked the perk "Bloody mess" lol. I did of course.

Btw, I found this on the fallout wiki over this perk:
With this perk extra body parts that have not been hit can fall off. For example, a hit to the torso can make the target's head/arm/leg fall off. Likewise, if the hit body part explodes from a strong weapon (ex: exploded head), other body parts will explode. However, it appears that if the head explodes, ALL other body parts explode.

Its really funny how you shoot creatures in the head, and for some reason their leg or their arm flew off

Maybe you haven't noticed that fallout 3 is one of the most gruesome games ever created with the VATs system and the body parts everywhere, and all that.

Maybe you got sucked into its sheer amount of gore, its post-apocalyptic setting, or karma system(all things oblivion has little or none of)

Hmmm weird, I played Fallout 3 first and I loved it. Then I bought Oblivion thinking I would also like it but I didn't. I don't know exactly why, I just don't get sucked into it.

Well this site says that its going to be this year (2010) http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2008/10/bethesda-wants/ , but who knows how lose they actually are to releasing it.

Oblivion and Demon's Souls are my two favorite games by far. Of course I was playing Oblivion before DS so you can imagine the huge difficulty difference between being a level 50 Breton with 100% Magic Resistance and Reflect Damage and then being a level 4 Temple Knight owned by the Red Eye Knight in 1-1!

Excellent game, the ES5 better hurry up!

Oblivion is the god of open world rpg IMO. Last I heard tes5 was called Elsewhyre and who knows when bethesda is going to bring it out. tes4 took like 5 years in production, lets just hope they have already started or else 2015…… at the earliest, NOOOOOOOOOOOO :(

I absolutely adore Oblivion and Morrowind, they're right up there with BG: SOA and NWN in my estimation of the best RPGs in existance.

I agree, mods are awesome! I wish I had the pc version because some of my buddies do and always show me their kick*** armor!!!

I'm hoping in the next Elder Scrolls they make it an MMORPG. There has been talk about this…

Oblivion is one of my FAV games. elder Scrolls 4 was the best one easily, but the fact that it was not an MMORPG sucked.

Buying it on the pc is the best because of mods some people have made the coolest armors i could have ever imagined

Hate how you had you had to buy armor for your horse though

I still remeber a glitch where you can dupe a lot of the same items lol brings back memorys. Btw did u guys know the." black hand" actually existed back in world war 1?? They were a group of assassins in serbia or something and one of the guy who was only 17 killed a prince and his wife. Causing more issues to the underlying causes of word war 1

I LOVE Oblivion. Beat it on my old 360 and have a game going on my PS3 now. Haven't played in awhile, but it's always guaranteed fun when I do play it.
