You could potentally do it endlessly, since you can simply run to the Once Royal Mistress and buy more spices (go for Old Spice for this trick, saves oodles of time) when you run out, then run back to Rydell and keep soulsucking him. Don't forget ring of avarice/silver bracelets.

Speaking from experience, doing this is slow, but damn is it convenient and easy.
