ok so revive is considered useless but I have had an idea. I was thinking of setting up shop somewhere and then using revive on blue phantoms i summon without getting their help. just so they have their bodies back. it would be risky with the black phantoms reading this "hey a target" mentality going on but I would still think it was a good idea. if you think its a good idea I will work at getting the Revival spell, I got refresh first, and then set up shop somewhere. most likely 1-4 seeing as I have beaten all the other areas with my strongest. so if everybody thinks its a good idea please let me know.

I'm not sure how well this would work… I have revived blue phantoms to be nice from time to time, but if you are going to do this you need to ask people to pm you if they want to participate and then set up a time and place in order to keep it a little safer. A nice idea and all, but I question its functionality.

I suspect you'll be pissing people off, regardless of your intentions. I speak only for myself, but when I decide to lay down a Blue Eye Stone, it's because I want a co-op boss run, or PVP if we're that lucky. I'd be rather miffed if I had to wait 5-10 minutes for a summon, another 2-3 minutes to actually enter the world and then instantly booted. What's likely to happen is me running back to the Nexus and committing suicide, only to return to laying down another Blue Eye Stone.

Revival was a nice pre-conceived idea, however it absolutely fails in terms of practicality.

Somewhat agree. It might not be a bad idea as far as shifting world tendancies without having to use ephemeral stones, but when I lay down a blue stone I'm generally doing it so that I can play through the level, whoop the bosses ass and get a decent amount of souls.

well that would be the thing. i would set it up here and then have it so i could put it out to the side so people would most likely not get caught up with the rigg who don't want it. then I could do that thus its out of the way for those who don't want revival but they can still get their body back at the cost of no stone and then most people willg et what they want.

I don't get why you're concerned with black phantoms. They can't choose what world they invade. You'd need a secluded spot on the map for people to lay down their stone, and I suspect the list wouldn't be busy enough for you to actually have a lot to do. You're better off playing online and telling people you friend that you can revive them if they need it. Remember that you can only summon people within your range. Also, you'd have to not finish the world where you're gonna do this as you cannot summon blue phantoms in that world when it's done. And if I really wanted to get revived at no cost, I'd probably just ask someone I know. Lots of people on this site would meet you and revive you without asking anything, so setting up a "shop" seems.. weird.

Ragnorax and Oji are right on this one, or so I think. Since you asked for opinions, I'd have to say it's a nice idea and I suppose if you messaged them offering a revival some people might take it. However, most people join a game as a blue to clear the level, not for a quick revive.

Also, I moved the topic to the General Online section for the sake of neatness. ^^

i understand where your coming from with the "i want to beat a level in the face not revive" witch i thought of. whitch is why i would find a nice spot on the side and revive people there. i would make sure it gets little to no traffic and can summon but the side alley of 4-4 would be where i would set up first. most people hide their marks under rubble if they want to meet somebody so that would a terfic place to not get in somebodies way.
