Most difficult boss

Now that we know which one is the easiest (phalanx imo), I wanted to hear you about the most difficult. I think the Flamelurker is the deal. I didn't hear about the glitch before, but in face to face, it's just the hardest boss I fought in the game.

The Maneater is also a pain in the ass… roll and fall to your death ffs.

I'd have to agree with you. Flamelurker and Maneater are the hardest. Out of the two (exploits and glitches aside) , I'd have to say Maneater takes the cake. Fire damage is pretty easy to work around, but Maneater is pure brute strength. Also, the risk of falling and the fact that there are two bosses to focus on makes single-player runs Uber hard. I think many people will argue about the two, but when it comes down to it its about your character build.

Flamelurker is a piece of cake if you are good at dodging. (unless it's 1v1 and you have no spells…. haha)
I think the hardest boss is the maneater!!!!!!!! If you dodge…. you fall to your death. If you get attacked from the side…. you fall to your death. If you get teamed up on… you just die.
The most ANNOYING thing ever though is when there is 2 of them and one is attacking you up close and the other is like burping at you! You can't do anything against it!
The next hardest boss is the false king i think.

TBH, I didn't find any of the bosses that extremely difficult. After dying a couple of times, I eventually learn about their attack patterns and went on to win the fight smoothly. However, the Maneater happens to be my most frustrating boss fight even though I've gotten used to it. Providing I don't keep getting knock off the stage, I can kill any of them easily.

No I didnt have spells the first time I defeated the flamelurker and I was on 1v1. False King is really easy I think. It's all about dodging and healing at the right time.

I've beaten all the bosses so many times now that I've developed strategies that work well for me. So really it's all about your build and playstyle. I didn't find flamelurker challenging at all because I fought him with purple flame shield and I can roll away from most of his attacks. I have to say that I still have trouble on the False King because of my low magic defense.

First time through, Maneater was such a pain. trying to handle two of them by myself was just painful. However, I found Flamelurker harder on my NG+
False King was challenging, but not impossible and definitely the most fun!

I thought it was maneater for the longest time until I got the timing down on a good firestorm. Fools Idol can be very tough on NG+ and above. Flamelurker is a piece of cake vs a simple spell like soul ray as long as you don't trap yourself in a corner and stay out of range of his fireburst. he can be less predictable and nastier in NG+ but you are better equipped to deal with him then.
Penetrator is a pretty good fight but Biorr distracts him and you can pull him down with a firespray while avoiding him
The only boss I refuse to fight without blue phantom help is False King. One on one he will get you in that soul drain pin and you are done. With help he is usually so distracted its just a matter of time

Mm, first time playthrough definitely flamelurker, for some reason I don't have trouble with maneater, then false king, he's tough when you play on your own especially when u play mage like me with no shield lol the old Hero can sometimes be rough too, but the rest of them are not too difficult

I found Old King Doran pretty hard. He just takes such little damage!

I've never had the displeasure of being knocked off the platform by the maneater. I always take the fight to the center area, and use the fire pit to keep some distance between me and the twins. Plus, up there, it's almost impossible for them to gang up on you. Maneaters werent tough at all for me, (especially with magic class). False king is ruthless but predictable. Drg god, monk, astraea, penetrator, spider, leech, dirty, adjud, strm king, fools idol….. all cake. Only ones worth worrying about are old hero (if you don't know that he really is blind) and flamelurker.
