How long does Mephistophles stay in your game?

I'm wondering if I kill body form Ostrava on my way to killing the False King (my last living Archdemon), will Mephistophles be waiting for me in the Nexus?

Once you kill Yurt and achieve PBCT, she will be there until you kill her, she kills you, or the game ends.

This has been implied heavily, but I haven't seen anyone say it explicitly. Once you unlock her, does she stick around even if you shift your CT? I'm interested in unlocking her for Foe's ring, but I want to get the friend ring first (since I want to get that before I start my NG+). Speaking of which, when's a good (latest) point to start killing off NPCs? Just before False King, or just before Wannabe Allant? Thanks in advance!

I have mephistophles on one of my games right now for about the past 2 weeks, I cannot say for sure that she will stay there indefinetly but so far it seems this way. I have had my CT all over the place and only have 1-4, 4-1 to 4-3 left to complete as I use that character for pvp I do not want to complete those levels so I can fight BP's. Also I usually do her assissination quests right before the final battle with the real Allant just in case I need to buy grass etc. from patches. Keep in mind though if you want to do the quests for Ostrava and Biorr for the colourless souls/TOB you must do her quests much earlier.
