Anybody having trouble getting Colorless DS?

If you are having trouble I have a method I need tested out. I haven't seen anybody else trying to do this so I was wondering if it works at all. The method under the farming tree regarding the Crow in 4-1 states using a black eyed stone to dup the colorless demon soul.

So could somebody inform me if this doesn't work. Couldn't you just buy as many talismans of God from the filthy woman in world 5 and keep dropping them at the crow's tree? It would be fast and easy.

U can only trade the crow once with the same item. as for that colorless glitch i dunno as i never tried.

The duping with the Crow in 4-1 works exactly as described. However, as LadyzPrince said, you can only drop the Talisman of Beasts and Gold Mask once. If you drop another one, she won't give you anything for it.

The great thing is, once your CDS is under the tree waiting to be picked up, it will stay there forever, even if you reload, quit, etc. The only way it will disappear is if you pick it up without using the dupe method.

So, you could dupe a few CDSs, get bored and decide to come back for more later. When you return, the CDS will still be waiting under the tree ready for you to use the dupe method to get more.

Ahhhh… now THAT I did not know :) I thought that if you left the world or logged off, it would be gone, like a gecko drop.

Hey sorry guys, but can someone explain it for me again? I guess I haven't understand it correctly.

Yesterday I went back to the crow to drop again a Talisman of God, but the crow doesn't want it. She says something that she has it already and don't want it.
How I have to start this dupe method?

Does it only work if I'm the first time at the crow and drop not 1 Talisman of God, but drop let me say 10 Talisman of God one after another?
Means:
- Drop Talisman of God
- Reload my Character so that the Talisman disappear and the Colorless Demon Souls is under the tree
- Drop Talisman of God
- Reload my Character so that the Talisman disappear and the second Colorless Demon Souls is under the tree
- Drop Talisman of God ….
- finally take all Colorless Demon Souls under the tree

Sorry for that, but I really don't understand how to do it…. :-(

In order to dupe something you have to invade or be summoned to another persons game. All you are doing is bypassing the autosave feature of the system.

So you would drop the ToG and then either invade somebody or get summoned. There is a point in the messages you get saying you invaded or are being summoned that you then pick up the item and because of how the save system works the game won't register that you dropped the ToG even though you did and were able to get the colorless.
