When you are not grinding in DS', your game(s) of choice is (are)?

Personally, at this point in time, all I really want to play is DS'.

However, being level 143 and on NG+, every now and then I die again….and again….and again….and again….and need a game or two to turn to vent some frustration / kill some time before returning to DS' and getting through the part that was the frustrating me.

For me, those games are:

1 - Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Wii - amazing game, tons of fun, endless replay value, try and master all the characters, play it with your friends! I personally play as Marth because he is a fast, raging melee powerhouse with a counter (!!!!) (not unlike my DS' character!) and he slaughters quickly. Also, I can have my Wii and my PS3 on simultaneously as they are both hooked up to our 47 inch basement TV (dvd player, AV1, Wii, AV2, and PS3 HDM1) so it is two presses of a remote button to switch from DS' to SSBB.

2 - Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope - excellent game, tons of crap to unlock, and leveling up is not horribly tedious. TONS of achievements, excellent graphics, however, our 360 is ALLLLLLLLLL the way upstairs whereas our Wii / PS3 are way in the basement so I do not play this as much as I should. Still, even though I am only through about 1/3rd of the game, I am at level 53 (avaerage). Yes, I am an over-leveler.

3 - Fallout 3. This game is freakin' AMAZING. Call me a loser, call me what you will, but I have literally sunk about 400 hours into this game, with three different characters, and still love it. Forget the main plot line, just wander around finding every single skill book, item, location, etc, killing shit at will, on man, such an awesome game! I played the CRAP out of Fallouts 1, 2 and Tactics and Fallout 3 is DEFINITELY a worthy addition to the franchise, even though I (stupidly!) bought it for PS3 and as such can't get any achievements or get any of the expansions.

4 - Guitar Hero 1 - 5 / Rock Band 1 - 2 - these games rule on hard / extreme, and get even better when there are other people / instruments thrown into the mix! Countless hours of me and my friends lives have been wasted (wasted? I like to think not…) on these excellent titles, although Guitar Heroes 1 through 3 for the PS2 were BY FAR the most hardcore and challenging!

Friendly FYI, every single expansion for Fallout 3 has been on the PS3 since late last year.

To answer your question though, the only game I have played since I got Demon's Souls is Pixeljunk Shooter. I got Fallout 3 and Infamous as the same time (about a month ago) and I haven't eve put them in my ps3 yet.

I play Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel a lot. It's actually pretty interesting once you get used to it. Not many players even though its a relatively newer game.

I have games like Dante's Inferno, and Final Fantasy XIII but I haven't really even played them yet.

I enjoyed Guitar Hero 2 but GH 1 was far too easy for me. GH2 on Hard/Extreme modes were insane though

I play demons souls at Sl 150 now, on NG++, but whenever i get killed three times in a row by random enemy i forgot about, boss, or Black Phantom, u just quit game, and relax by knifing people in MGO, do you play ? my names Psykomantis, i wear all black with red somewhere around lvl 12
I have like 13 PS3 games, but i only yplay demons souls and Metal Gear Online

Demon's Souls did not deserve to win GOTY for Gamespot. It's a great game, but without a solid story, frustrating exploits, and no additional DLC's the game just cannot win over Among Thieves

Borderlands didn't have much of a story line either but the game was definately awesome.

My favorite games are
MGS4
Killzone 2
God of War 3(the combat wasn't great and the ending was complete garbage but the posiedon kill scene and the hades battle were completely epic and the sroryline was awesome)
Resident evil 4(RE5 wasn't that great except for the 1st DLC level)
Patapon 1&2

Whatever you do do not spoil the ending, I'm still in the process of killing Hades.

Killzone 2's controls are to wonky and the gameplay is a bit too slow for FPS players in love with COD or Halo

Resident Evil 4 is a great game with lots to love, but MGS4 is definitely the greatest game i have played so far. It's graphics are friggin amazing, the gameplay is superb, the voice acting was great, and the last boss battle was epic as shiznit.

I love patapon 2, I didn't want to play patapon 1 because patapon 2 is the same thing with more features…..LITERALLY

They need to remake re4 on a system other than the wii…or at least just upgrade the graphics and put it as one of the first downloadable ps2 games on PSN

Lol i am pretty sure you can play the PS2 version on the PS3 and it wouldn't really benefit from a reincarnation other than to get lower sales for JUST a graphics update
