Shouldn't there be a page for the status effects in Demon's Souls? Specifically Bleed, Poison and Plague. I've recently found that many don't know the specific effects of the statuses, and there's no reliable place on the wiki or internet in general to find information about it. I believe it may be in the handbook somewhere, but…I lost mine a long time ago ^_^ And from the questions I see when I search for information, a lot of others did too.

So, if it's all right, could I create a page for each of these? I wouldn't mind doing it. The problem is, I have no idea how it should be formatted or how to create tables and organized lists. The only HTML I've done on the wiki is adding links to pages. Usually all I do is rephrase or reorganize information for an easier read ^_^

• Bleeding - HP steadily lowers, recovers with time
• Poisoned - HP steadily lowers; the effect of healing items is halved. Recovers with time.
• Plagued - HP lowers; the effect of healing items is halved; stamina recovery is slowed. Recovers after a long time.

Those are the three main points you had. Create status effects by clicking on the link here, and start throwing the information up.

I'll give you more of the stuff on page 14 later.

Yes, I think this is a good idea; it's been on my 'someone should do this' list for a while. There are a lot of basics which aren't described here at all. So capture some of the mechanisms and maybe try to figure the resistance formulas, and the ways to get poisoned and how they differ. Maybe gear suggestions?

The Poison one has the most sources to describe. A while back I started to do some observations to help understand the sources of poison and the effect of resistance. The poison effect is not the same from all environmental sources. E.g. the 5-2 swamp poison damages at a rate of 4hp/sec, and poison resist determines how long it takes to get poisioned and how long the poisoned state lasts if you leave the swamp and just wait it out. With pois resist of 107 it took about 9 sec to get poisoned, and it lasted about 181 sec. With pois resist of 467 it took ~40sec to get poisoned and it lasted about 127 sec. The poisoned effect from the punctured giant ticks in 5-1 is much higher dam/sec, something like 11hp/sec if I recall? Mercury weapons in PVP clearly have different damage rates. Need damage from slugs, facebugs, latria prisoners, etc. I also don't think those numbers change from NG to NG+.
