Hosts and black phantoms working together?

Hi all, I've been lurking around here for a while now, and found this site and the forum members very helpful, though this is my first post :)

I was just summoned to a game in 4-1 as a blue, and found the host and black phantom standing together, not fighting. I then got stabbed in the back by the black phantom, which killed me and took a soul level, while the host just stood and watched :s

I am relatively new to the online aspect of demon's souls and have played around 25 online sessions, but this was my first experience of 'malicious' play, and was just wondering if this happens often?

Ah, ok. I did have a look but couldn't find it :) Is there a list of known players who do this at all?

Aha, fair enough, is this a common practice then? I've read a lot about 'correct etiquette' while playing demon's souls, and to tell the truth, scraping spear and such has never bothered me when I encountered it, so I just wondered if this was a normal or not…

It's not exactly common, but is known to happen every once in a while.
