EDIT NOTE OK, Wanting to encourage you and keep you moving in the right direction, I found this: http://community.wikidot.com/howto:include-part-of-a-page-only
Now, if you play with that in the sandbox and can figure out how to pull part of the table data from its home location, than your idea here as merit. I don't have to worry about updating multiple pages, because there is just one source of information. Let me know if you can get this to work, or if you need help.
This is not going to work. Having the same data in multiple places will result in a situation in which the data is updated in one place and not in another. Once enough time goes by, things will be so out of whack it will require a basic re-check of all of the data everywhere. We aren't going down that road. If you want people to know how many stones it takes to perform an upgrade to a +5 on a weapon, then create a totals line on the bottom of the tables that already exist in the weapon pages. The stone pages already list all of the weapons that you can upgrade with that stone.
I don't want to discourage you from adding to the site, but I must point out the issues this will cause. What you are wanting to do is more related to how a spreadsheet would work, and I have not yet found a good way to lay that kind of system into the site, but it is on my to do list. The whole reason I first started editing the wiki was because the layout of the stones was all jumbled and I had a hell of a time figuring out how many stones I needed to do an upgrade. I just could not find a practical and easily maintainable system that would make it work.
If you can find a solution that does not require tracking down factual data in multiple spots, then please share it with me.
In the meantime we need to turn these pages off. Trust me, the idea is great, but the implementation will cause a lot of headaches down the line.
