Range Strategy

Must be in Soul Form. Clear the the first 2-3 dreglings and stand behind either the last or the second last pillar from her. Use zoom to aim and fire one arrow, then immediately hide back behind the pillar, as she will cast Soul Ray. It's a little far, so aim slightly above and to the left of her shoulder. Repeat until she dies. The clone won't even appear.

Sorry if this is more appropriately a forum post… I just tried it, mostly for kicks, on NG++. It is, IMO more trouble than it's worth. One problem is that the field isn't going to cover all of the clones in the room, some will still be able to shoot you with the soul arrow. Another problem is that the effect really drops the frame rate in the room which is pretty terrible. Then there's the issue that you can't cast spells yourself with anti-magic field on (of course, if you're using anti-magic field you should know that already).

Maybe it's viable if you stand in the exact center of the cathedral and shoot at the boss with arrows?

My attempt, while successful, could only be described as "sloppy" :-)
