A quick question about North Regalia

I was about to add this to the wiki, but I better ask first: It's about the "Optional quest to obtain the ultimate sword of Boletaria "Demonbrand" and forge North Regalia (after NG+)" part.

I was messing around in the endgame (ng+? I think) the other day, and after defeating the boss and picking up the Soulbrand, I used the Makoto to suicide. So I ressurected in the Nexus, and ran over to Ed's and made the North Regalia. When I used the archstone to go back below Nexus, I was transported back inside the last boss room again, and could choose my preferred ending.

Is this doable in NG, and if so, can you use evacuate, shard of archstone or nexial binding as well, to get back to Stonefang to make the NR before going NG+?

Yes, and I was almost certain I had added that to the wiki before, it seems to have been removed in another revision, probably when the page was tidied up.
My girlfriend suggested that to me one time after I picked up Soulbrand, and I evacuated and made NR on my first playthrough. I distinctly remember telling everyone on Vent too and someone else tested it to confirm it.

I haven't tested Shard of Archstone, suiciding or using Nexial Binding, but I would presume they would also work.
Feel free to add that to the page.

I tested the evacuate, and it definitely works, so you can add that in as a definite option to forge the NR and fend off those pesky 1-1 invaders in NG+.

Should this be added to the Old King page, or would it fit better under the North Regalia or the End Game page?

Definately under the page for the weapon, and a small note on the End Game page.
I take it I can entrust this to you, your edits are very good from what I've seen.

I added some to the pages, added all methods of escape as well, then they will at least be verified :)

I discovered if you equip the thieves ring you can get close enough to cast poison cloud on him with out him seeing you, he just sits there taking damage until he dies, you may have to cast 2 or 3 times.

do u know any other easy way to get him down to 75% i just want demonbrand im still soul level 22 started out with royalty class, i have brushwood set bastard sword plus 1 cling ring, thieves ring and ring of great strenght also i have a a rapier

According to the official atlus strategy guide (I have one in front of me…)

Killing one of the five black phantoms does -90% to the world tendency, while old king doran does -60%, I'm not sure how to convert that to the number system this site uses, but I thought I'd mention this so someone can edit it in.

Killing King Doran with a neutral WT will only drop your WT by 1. I have tested this. It will have to be confirmed whether or not the previous statement (of a -3 WT drop) is indeed true when killing him with a pure white world tendency.

alright. was wondering whether i should leave it out there ^^

but about the world drop percentage; it's of no use to players knowing the percentage, when WT is determined in a scale of 1.0 increments, in an 8 point scale going from -4 to +3. it makes you wonder why they even mentioned it in the strategy guide.

Alternate Old King Doran backstab strategy .

I was using the backstab strategy to kill Old King Doran , I made a Fatal twisted rapier per the recomendations . After a while I got sloppy and ended up dead , so I decided to switch up weapons . Using the rapier I was getting about 56 damage per backstab , I decided to try the Blue Blood sword / Light Weapon combo . Worked like a charm , 150 or so damage unenchanted , and about 256 damage enchanted . I have the minimum requirements to use the Blue Blood sword , with the exception of 30 strength , and 14 luck .

When i did this, he didn't heal himself at all. I was having a hard time killing him melee, because he was healing himself whenever i was healing myself too.

I did about 30 damage each hit with my Sticky compound long bow +5 and heavy arrows, on NG++. But it was a lot faster for me, than trying to kill him with melee attacks.
