So yeah, I finally got my wireless router and got my PS3 online, which is sweet, looking forward to playing a whole bunch of games online now, but mainly DS!
Experimented a bit with DS online so far, and I know it works, at least in terms of getting me online, as it connects to the server, and I can see all the white phantoms running around, read / rate all the messages, etc.
My question is regarding stone usage…
I have already read the "Using stones in online mode" page in the PvP section, and I know HOW to use them, they just never seem to work.
I have tried using a black eye stone on 4 seperate occasions, twice in 4-1 (which is apparently the busiest of all levels for PvP), once in 1-1, and once in 2-2.
Without fail, it always says "Failed to invade any worlds", or whatever the exact wording of that message is.
Also, my blue eye stones, which I have tried the same number of times, in the same levels, never seem to get me summoned.
Now, I am signing on from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with the North American version, obviously, level 51, which seems like a good level to be PvP'ing at, at least in terms of having other people around my soul level, and I am not sure of my region.
The first two times I tried to invade / be summoned were late last night, and then twice late this afternoon.
Does this just mean there are not many other people close by to me playing DS when I am?
