How do you reduce stat of your choice???

it seems like people know how to reduce a stat of their choice when they lower their soul level…

i was wondering how do you do this??

so is it possible that i can put more stats on magic and then learn poison cloud then reduce the magic???(cause even though i got 2 slots for magic, Sage Freke wont even talk to me for having low magic)

when i lose a soul level, it seems that i lose my main stat and dont get any choice at all

EDIT* ok ive done some research and i guess you cant really lose stat of your choice

but i thought of something.

if i make a new character, then upgrade my magic to 10 and intelligence to 14.

after that i only upgrade vitality (someone told me vit cant be deleveled) -and learn magic ofc

when i am around lvl 50-60 i ask someone to soul suck me and i lose all my intelligence and magic then. upgrade my intelligence again and my magic is still 5 while i can cast the spells still.

would that work??

Yes, the trick involving deleveling your magic is used quite a lot.

dam i thought i was pretty original. lol..

but just one question. when i delevel my magic my intelligence will be deleveled as well…

so when i level my intelligence to 14 again will the magic i remembered still be there???

or do i have to talk to Freke to remember them again?
cause that would make the whole thing pointless

Rescue Yuria, she'll help you memorize spells regardless of your magic.

Also, ALWAYS remove all spells you have memorized before deleveling. It can cause permanent loss of a spell. Sometimes you can't even re-learn it, regardless of how many game cycles you go through.
