Please post. IMO, the Maneater is the hardest, the bastard is alway flying around and knocking you off the edge, and when the second one comes in, WTF. I I even pick this over false king, which is probably a close second. ManEater is simply difficult. High damage doing attacks, strong magic, and oh yeah, theres 2 of them. Easiest is LeechMonger, one cast of firestorm and he's outta here! Turpentine is also very effective. My Favorite is the False King (Paired with wannabe) because Number one-False king is just BA. Yes, he's a Dick for sucking your soul, but he's just beast, and fighting through knights in armor, assassins, fire casting ministers, and dragons, to the tallest tower in the kingdom is just awesome. Also, he has a pretty good story line behind him…Most annoying is Fool's Idol. She copies her self and the stun spots are hanging around the ground. SUCH a frustrating fight.
I'm not even going to do the common enemies, that up there was just to get you guys started.
Ready, Set, Go :)
Well maneaters arent that bad IMO, if you use the fog glitch to take out the first man eater, then hide by the fire and use arrows, or magic, it's pretty easy.
The hardest i find to fight now is well, no one actually cause i always use arrows and warding xDDDDD with my Str build i'd arrow the harder people and black turpentine and warding the others, rarely taking damage and dealing tons with the DBS+5. But without the use of arrows or magic, i'd have to say flamelurker. that guys always gets me before i started using arrows and magic. that or Maneaters xDDDD
4chan FTW! But Reddit is better. PSN: Yakul-
At Yakul, I think doing glitches on bosses and just sniping them kind of ruins the fun of the game. Just my opinion
I agree, it kind of defeats the object of the game and also defeats the object of posting your opinion on a thread such as this one, in my opinion.
I think that once you know what you are doing with the bosses on this game, none of them pose a particularly tough challenge.
On my first playthrough though, Maneater was definately the hardest boss for me, it took me a good couple of days to get past him. I think The Old Monk has the potential to be the toughest boss, if you are unfortuante enough to get someone who uses acid cloud and a scraping spear like I have before haha :s
I haven't beaten the the game, but from as far as i've palyed.
The Easiest was Dragon god , the entire stage took only 5 minutes and he din't even damage me more than half of my health.
Even flamelurker was easy, because my friend and i were doing co-op and he is an awesome player.
Favorite would be the dragon god too :P
I didn't have that much of a hard time with maneaters. I used the central flame torch as a barrier and rolled around it to dodge his attacks and just take pot shots in between. I didn't use any glitch what so ever, and it worked out for me.
Strangely I find the Dragon God the hardest. I haven't quite learned his attack patterns and he sometimes catches me by surprise.
Easiest is Adjudicator - just run around casting HSA.
Favourite is False King. So epic.
Most annoying is Storm King. It just takes a while and Stormruler breaks sometimes. >.<
I used to have trouble with Dragon God until I realized it wasn't his fire that got me, but his physical attack. I use warding, Purple Flame Shield because it is the lightest weight strongest shield combo. I use a bow to target rubble and soul ray once targeted to destroy it-all except the last one that I just beat the heck out of and run.. Generally, if you wear thief's ring and run after he attacks a point you can hide behind some of the pillars and he won't see you. Someone said you watch his eyes, but I've never taken the time for that.
Maneaters are tough. Flamelurker and Allant of course are also hard. Storm KIng is kind of cool and all I do for him is wait closer to the entrance, hiding behind the rocks when he shoots out the spikes. He is annoying because the only part of him that I do any damage to is his head, even though you can target his wingtips too.
Fool's Idol is kind of annoying in a way because if you don't get rid of all of her followers and do ranged attacks on her, you often end up targeting them, not her or even her copies.
I really like the Tower Knight even though he was super easy, mostly because the first time I played this and saw him, I wondered "what the heck do I do now?"
Penetrator is always over fairly quickly since I have Biorr distract him.
Most annoying boss for me is flamelurker sometimes, at -30% health, he is a pain in the butt, but spells and magic based weapon damage do fine.
Easiest boss is straight up leechmonger, all it takes is using arrows or meleeing him, and his attacks are pretty easy to avoid.
My favorite is still Maiden Astraea, not because shes is so pathetically easy to kill, but the story behind her. She accepts the soul of a demon because she knows the truth of god's existence and in those plague and poison filled swamps, she showed compassion and care to those ugly creatures when nobody else would. And Garl Vinland's loyalty to her to protect her adds to the interest of her story.
P.S.- Most badass boss there is is the Penetrator boss.

Summum nec metuam, nec optem diem
Yeah, I'd have to say that I feel bad when killing Garl Vinland because he and Astraea seem to be fairly good and honorable. I also feel kind of bad killing the Old Hero, not necessarily because of his disability, but well because he was a hero. Most of the others are more obviously evil. Like there's really nothing to love about Leechmonger or Dirty Colossus.
And please a guy with a large cleaver attack as well as one poking out his abdomen, bird's nest on his head and death-dealing 30 foot long tongue is just begging to die.
Favourite is without a doubt the false king as its such an epic fight and he aalways keeps you on your toes, even if you think youve got him on the ropes!
Hardest would have to the maneaters but only if theyre both on to you at the same time.
Easiest is either Adjudicator or storm king for me, both great fun though
PSN: JEQ92 Hooked on Demon's Souls!!
Hardest, without being a cheater/skeeter/pumpkin eater? False King Allant.
I'm a mage and he mops the floor with me unless I whittle him down with poison. Yeah, it's cheap, but on NG++++ I figure I've paid my dues to this game. :-)
Easiest? Adjucator. I take the shortcut over the castle wall, get all slice-o-matic on his midsection and I'm ready for more.
Favorite? The Old Monk…especially when it's another player. Even if I get beat, it's fun!
When I first played through, Flamelurker was the hardest boss, took me probably 15 attempts. Sometimes I would be doing so well, and then suddenly he would go absolutely mental, and throw four or five attacks at me in quick succession. So my stamina would be completely gone from either trying to get out of the way or blocking, and then he would jump on me, and that was it. Of course, what I didn't realise at the time, is that I could've just worn the Ring of Great Strength, or worn lighter armour (d'oh!). That made things a lot easier when I had to fight him again.
Easiest would have to be Adjudicator. Only ever used one attack, which you could see coming from a mile off.
My favourite would have to be the Old Monk as well. Some of the fights I've had with that boss have been pretty awesome, even though I lost quite a few.
My easiest boss fight is probably the Dragon God. Not even really a fight; more of a stealth mini-game.
Hardest for me is always Maneater, just because of how incredibly cheap his knockdown spam is, and how dodging on those narrow little bridges tends to result in death.
Favorite is by far Flamelurker/False King Allant; both are hectic and require real skill to beat if you don't use those silly exploits. Flamelurker gets particularly crazy if you accidentally back into a corner. Allant's huge range and variety of attacks, as well as his incredible speed and damage when attacking and not walking around dramatically, make him really fun to fight as well. I enjoy a good challenge, and these two have consistently provided one, much to my pleasure.
