I have fallen off the maneater bridge soo much because I get carried away with my rolls
are you talking about pvp or pve? Because I have some for both
PVP:
This is one of my favorite moves in the game if you get halfway into a roll before someone backstabs you, it negates the backstab (shows the animation but no damage is dealt). It is one of the most useful things to master in pvp in my opinion.
PVE:
I have been playing this game for sometime now so I consider myself experienced, however I had a total facepalm moment in 4.1 when I was fighting the horde of skeletons on the stairs by just charging through them. I gather them all behind me and then charge at the archer skeleton in the corner and roll towards him. All of a sudden I see myself overshooting the roll and rolling straight off the edge to my death. The funniest part of it was I had over 4 million souls on me and when i revived I got invaded and killed by a very good black phantom. I'm not one of THOSE people that freak out over the souls but man was I embarassed of myself lol.
So…my vote is, in pvp its a lifesaver, in pve it can definitely spell your doom and I avoid doing it on edges and stairs lol

I believe thats from lag my friend
4chan FTW! But Reddit is better. PSN: Yakul-
It can happen in a lag-free game aswell. I don't really see why the animation is necessary when the damage is nullified but thats how she goes. Getting backstabbed from 20ft away however definetly is lag and there are players who definetly use that to their advantage.
Dodging a gold skeleton and rolling off the cliff 4-2
I've done that one before, annoying as hell!
