Best Fast Weapon?

Summary:

Whats a weapon thats very fast but doesn't sacrifice damage too much?

I am making a quick moving character and am wondering which weapons would be best for speed in the beginning of the game and at the end.

Any of the swords are quick. Ie 1 handed swords. Like knight sword, broad etc.

Most of the curved weapons.

Like falcion, uchigana, estoc.

Battle axes. Guillotine Axe

I guess the rule of thumb is if it sits on your shoulder when you equip it. Its not gonna be fast.

IMO falchion and scimitar are very fast. Will never do the damage of a BBS with light weapon. So it depends on how your gonna play.

Blueblood is a beast. With ICat LW a full R1 chain can often be fatal even with SC up and its fast as a bugger.

Uchi and knights sword are similar in speed and range and when cursed can do pretty good damage

Kilij and Guillotine axe are both pretty fast and do decent damage but their range is fairly short
