starting to specialize

starting to specialize

My question is I just started my 2nd playthrough and i realize the importance of specializing.

The problem I have is that my character is like a jack of all trades character so is it too late to start specializing

Here`s my stats so far

25 vitality
30 endurance
36 strength
25 dex

all magic and mana related skills are pretty much not leveled
i started as a temple knight current soul level is around 90 i think i just finished the first playthrough
so i don;t think i`m not that screwed i only leveled those magic related skills to learn key prayers and magic spells like one time revival and warding etc

so do you guys have any ideas what i could do with those stats

as an edit:

i do have a +5 quality winged spear, used pretty much through my later half of my 1st playthrough,

i use it to play sort of a super fast agile phalanx build and i get a lot of people with it in pvp also lol

Level up vit more and endurance and go with the MC with Light Weapon. You could also pump some more points into dex/faith for more damage out of the MC as well. It scales S/S/-/A wiht str, dex and faith. I'd also try and get endurance up to 40 too same with Vit.

Yes meatcleaver is a nice choice, but any other builds or weapon suggestion??

Quality weapons with a cracked tob CW, you have enough str to make use of a DBS+5 with a cracked tob curse too. If you go with DBS+5, pump vit and get 40 end. If you do quality get atleast 35 vit and 35 end and raise dex some more. You might also be able to make some use of crushing weapons, though, I'd recommend higher str, 40+ usually, and curse weapon.

talisman of beasts that you do not meet the required stats for, which is used for cursed weapon so it only drains 1 hp per second versuses the 1% hp per second.

so if i go with meat cleaver

would you recommend that i have equal amounts in strength and dexterity?

like 40 and 40 or something like that

Is your focus PvP or PvE? If PvP, you most likely don't have room to reach the 120 cap to get 40 str/dex and not have probably hp/end. I'd get dex to 30, get end to 35-40 and vit to 40. Let's see, from your current stats, that's additional 20 to 25 stats. Which, if you are SL 90, would end you at 115, from there, you can put 5 more points into Dex if you have the slots for light weapon/cursed weapon already. If not, get points into Int for 2 slots for LW or 3 slots for Cursed Weapon. I suggest using Cursed Weapon over Light Weapon with lower magic, as Light Weapon doesn't gain as big of a bonus from low magic. If you're going for PvE, then, well, you don't need to worry too much about the 120 PvP cap and can raise your stats accordingly to make the most out of your weapon choice.
