Importance of Vitality and Endurance

Summary:

I have been levelled my royal to a soul level of 96 without a single point on vitality or endurance. Have I messed up?

This build (or non-build) allows me to pretty much use every weapon in the game, with strong emphasis on magic and archery.

Magic:
Left hand: kris+2, crescent uchi +4
right hand: wooden catalyst, talisman of god
Armor: Old Ragged or Black Leather
Head: Monk's wrapping
Ring: Thief, magic sharpness

Archery:
left hand: LSOS
right hand: a selection of 3 bows: Lava, White and Sticky Compound Long Bow +2
Armor: As above
Head: Silver Coronet
Ring: Clever Rat, Thief

Melee:
left hand: Adjudicator
right hand: Meat Cleaver
Armor: As above
Ring: Clever Rat, Cling

I am already through 1-2, 2-2, 3-2, 4-2 and 5-3. When I started reading the forums, I noticed everyone has decent amounts of upgrades on endurance and vitality, which I have thus far neglected.

How badly have I messed up? Is there any hope to right this ship?

Don't expect to win too many PvP fights with this build. No end to support rolling/attacking with a weapon and OHKO almost every time from all attacks. For a magic based build, you have far too much str and dex, you would have wanted to dump points into vit and end, only time playing as a magic build you raise them is to use your weapon of choice. The 20 faith isn't very useful either, as it isn't creating a 'pushed' tob with just 20 points in it, usually for that you want 40 mag and faith. Best I can see you hope to end at is about 20 vit and end ending at 119 and going with a MC for your main weapon with light weapon. Even still, though, you will die fast in PvP and you will deplete much of your stam bar with 1 swing of the MC.

If the focus is on PvE, then 20 Vit and End would still be low, but, is not impossible to do in PvE. Plus the MC would server you fairly well there with Knockbacks/Knockdowns gving you some time to regen some stam to knock em down again. Bosses will be the hardest on you, however, cause of low stam and not much rolling.

In either case, if you want to save the build, you have to choose 1 of 2 options:

1) Sink points into End and Vit and get them up or
2) Delevel and then re-do your points into more of a build to your linking.

For PvE that is a good question. I would say as long as nothing can really one-shot you then you are "OK". If a boss does 500 dmg then a person having 900hp versus 600 hp you can see that all those points in VIT isn't going to save you. In this case effectively you will die in 2 hits regardless of the extra points spent in VIT. Of course this is just one scenario and PvP is another matter entirely.

its still salvage-able at least
1.put the rest of the lvls until SL120 into END, you won't take a hit but you can dodge
2.put points into both of them evenly
3.de-lvl

don't worry too much about it, looks like a fairly good PvE build to me, may want to use that score to just reach SL 712 or collect all of th trophies
