Hello dears DS' gamers,

I introduce myself as a young person (I'm 24), but a gamer for loooooong time.
Demon's Souls is my new addiction and this wiki is my bible.

This is my very first thread here but I take a look very often on DSWiki. Thanks to every gamers here and the creator, this wiki is very useful and full of informations.

My request's to translate this awesome database in French. I know that would takes some hours of works but I'm aware of this.
Maybe if I could just begin with the most important parts (as classes, or world's informations) it'll be great.

I know my english is not perfect, but translate some texts to French is easier to me.

Did you look in the bottom left corner of each page? There is an option to translate into many languages using google translation. It might not be perfect and since I am not fluent in any other language I don't know how good it is. But, I tested it with the forum and with various pages on the wiki and it seemed to work.

Yes, I've seen the Google translation. It might help, but the quality isn't very good. Google don't know many words used in RPG or video games, so some translations are kinda weird.

The other thing is the great powers that be on this wiki have stated that it may be gone soon. They hint at some other project to come, but aren't telling us what that is.

If you're saying that you want it to be on the page itself, then no. This is a wiki based off of the NA version of DS, and it should stay that way.

Ok I understand. I was talking about a translation from the original text, not to talk about the European version.

Or maybe is it possible to create a section inside the forum for the foreign langage (about the NA version of course)? Where it's possible to put translated text from this wiki? It's my last question about this project :)

I think there'd probably be a number of objections to you taking text off of this wiki, translating it and then putting it somewhere else.
I'm sure something will be sorted out in terms of forums soon, as the EU version is coming.

Not to interfere, but I think he was talking about translating parts of the wiki and creating a section within this wiki for those parts and not putting it on another website. That was my understanding, anyway. And I apologize for butting in.
