This sword should have Physical Damge also. Its listed as only having 100 Magical and 0 Physical. However, I have taken out quite a few enemies with this sword. I do have it Max+5. i used it on BP and on the Red Eyed Knights and the Katan Skeletons. The best possible hit comes with 2 handed R2 and then a combo R1 Stun Lock. 3 hits and they were out. This is one of the BEST swords in the game next to the PureBlueBlood and the North Ragalia. It will beat any Scraping Spear or Mirdan Hammer, given if you have the proper Str/Dex build. The best benefit of this sword is it will virtually penetrate ANY sheild and USING the MASTER RING and ETERNAL WARRIOR RING, its unstoppable…..

I am not really sure what it is you are saying. Do you mean it should have physical damage because when you hit things with it physically.. it damages them? Also saying this sword will work with a proper strength and dex build is just silly. Strength and dex have nothing to do with the damage of this weapon. It scales solely based on the faith stat.

Having a High Strenght/Dex build will give you a better handling of this sword. Thats what im sayn…even though its listed as having 0/0/0/24…Point in my case is this. When i have this sword in my right hand and I pull up my stat screen…it clearly says that my Physical attack power in right-handed weapon 1 or 2, which ever position its in, says 355

That listed attack power you are quoting.. is a combination of both physical and magical. Also, having more dex and strength does not increase your "handling" of the sword in any way.

I think the only person with a misconception about the LSoM is you, 2Legit.
DAmwake is correct, that number is the combination of both Physical and Magical.
Compare to a Blessed Great Axe +5 at 50 Faith, a much better weapon in every situation - 550AR combined.

Strength and Dexterity don't affect the way a sword handles dude, only damage with the appropriate stat scaling. The LSoM will always say the same amount of damage either one-handed or two-handed, regardless of your STR/DEX levels, because it doesn't scale with DEX and the two-handed damage bonus is for STR, not faith, and so will not boost your damage.

Thats my point Ilkar…..you said its a combination of "Physical and Magical"…..0/100/0…..is not right. All im sayn is whatever amount of that 355 is physical should be listed as such…..

And yes, it does not scale Str/Dex….but you cant say the higher your str/dex does not give you more physical attack and better handling of this weapon..

*Sigh*. The 0/100/0 Value is the initial, unupgraded value, which doesn't include the scaled bonus from your stats or the increases in damage as you upgrade it.
Secondly, this is not Dungeons and Dragons. Your stats will not improve your 'handling' of a weapon under any circumstances, as cool as that would be.
So I CAN say that the higher your Strength and Dex the more I will laugh at you.

Well Dude…the bottom line is the sword will own if used properly. From the Slaves Shield on up to the Tower Shield it will by-pass and you will be put to sleep….

Also, yes, we get the whole 'it will bypass you shield' thing, but considering (and this is a rough estimate based on several thousand sessions played) that about 1 in 7 players actually tries to block, and nobody will bother unless they are totally ignorant of the effect of the LSoM and happen to be carrying a shield. This means that, multiplying those probabilities together you are looking at the LSoM actually being of use in 1 out of several hundred duels.
That's 'of use', not 'the best weapon you could have' or even 'a good weapon'.
If you try to kill an experienced PvPer, they will be put to sleep - with boredom, as you take 2 minutes of constant swinging to crack their Second Chance.

Frankly none of the above, all my characters are in the SL 80-140 range across all my PSNs.
The highest I have currently is a SL 145ish joke character, and the lowest is about 90.

Umm.. at MAX stats this thing only does 100+255 magic attack. there are many weapons that have over 500 damage and not even close to max stats. Assuming you have a pure faith build, Compare it to blessed weapons. There are many of them that severly outdamage the LSoM. I don't mean to be rude, but it is YOU who has the misconception. Yes it may penetrate any shield, but in PVP nobody uses them unless for parrying or they're bonus effect. I really see no point in ever using this weapon unless you are slaying nOOb's at sl 40. I already looked at this weapon damge stat sheet DUDE. This sword is not even listed. 355 magic or physical damage is enough to take down any enemy. I did not say its the BEST, but it is on the TOP 5 list IMO……I took down Maneater with this sword. Chopped his tail off with the first hit. So i do know what im talkn.

The sword most definetly IS listed under the weapons page. 355 damage is really not that great at all, especially for a slow large sword like that. I directed you to the weapon damage calculator to quite easily show you how much more powerful other weapons are. I mean for real, A moon uchi +5 will out damage LSOM and how many hits do you think you can get off to your single swing ? Doesn't seem very practical to me…

Of course you need a faster sword to finish the deal. But to get your target beat down in the beginning, this is a good sword to use. thats why i said "if used correctly". You will take hits with any sword. It you have a high Vitality score the guy with the LSoM should win….

No way Northern reguila's are beast one person i see who used northern reguilia effectively was JIGGS3119 he was badass. But Lsom is good but only good to a certain point, and 2legit if you want to prove it is better then get some people on here to pvp with you and it'll settle the debate for good. Action speaks louder than words ^_^

Lol, i faced JIGGS with that weapon once. I won with a DBS for that fight, but JIGGS seems proficient with any weapon since he used a different weapon each of the 5 or so times I faced him and did well. However, he's probably the only person I faced who was experienced with the weapon (not to say there aren't others of course).

I'd like to see you take him on 2Legit, that is if you survive Ilkar. Best of luck to you!

I doubt the str of a weapon matters in PVP, If skilled enough, anyone can take like any weapons with no upgrades, into a fight with a +5/+10 weapons and win.

I don't think that statement is nessecarily true. Yeah, a skilled person could probably kill any unskilled person with any weapon, upgraded to their build or not.
However, I don't think you will find very many well skilled Str/Dex players killing other atleast decently skilled players by using Claws+0, Mostly because their damage will be so minimal that a decently skilled player can take it and keep themselves alive throughout the entire fight untill the better player becomes serious or the lesser player gives up out of boredom.

EDIT: As for the topic, LSoM is a horrible PvP weapon. Noone uses shields to block except for turtles. For PvE, it's alright and has some uses, but, a Blessed Great Axe+5 will blow it out of the water.
