how long did it take you guys to reach platinum? or does anyone need help getting there??

I got most of my unique weapons and tendency events on the 1st playthrough. I kept my SL low for the whole 4 playthroughs, so some bosses were harder than others later on.
I think it took me about 80 hours approx. But some of that was in co-op and stone farming.
Pure Bladestone took me about 4 hours, Faintstones took me about 6 hours (not necessarily the pures but the chunks - I have a BGA, BMH, BCA and BKS all maxed).
Also, you tend to waste time getting duplicate weapons. E.g. if I was in PBWT, I usually would go and find the BPs even if I got their drops the previous run.
I think you could run through subsequent games and get the platinum time to about 20-30 hours, but that's just a guess.

Still trying to get mine after many many more hours than nobloodnoguts. I seriously would like to see if noblood's experience is at least somewhat common. The main problem for me is trying to get pure bladestone and pure darkmoonstone. And, in PBWT I have constantly worked on farming the BP as well as the dual katana guy in the hidden passage. On my last try for darkmoonstone with the one gecko, he took one hit from an arrow and ran off, so I have to try for him in my next game.
There are some other (minor) things I need to get, like some hardstone chunks and chunks of some other materials, but I haven't been working too much on them.
I've had some help with bosses and helped others, but don't want to do any duping or such unless it becomes impossible.
Don't get me wrong, I've put a LOT of hours into this game. I estimated my platinum time because my total hours includes alot of co-op that doesn't really help you get closer to the platinum (except the Friend's ring).
Pure Darkmoonstone was the last pure I found. It was my 3rd run through and was the lizard in 4-2 hidden passage. I reloaded my profile and firestormed it on the slope before the cliff. The 4-3 geckos never dropped a pure for me. Alternatively, use a bow in hyper mode with Clever Rat's ring.
I have a spare Pure Bladestone on my SL98 character. I never use the character so you can have it if you are in range and farming becomes too monotonous for you.
About 2 months after I started playing. I got my first trophy(Phalanx, first boss, first day I got the game) February 24, and I got my platinum trophy on April 21. I could be a little off, but I'm tired.

cool, im at 98% right now, (upped quite a lot thanks to some helpful folk online!) but still just loving the game… each playthrough is almost exactly the same yet im still really enjoying it, even more so in co op :)
