Exact Values
The bold values are known correct for the current version of the game. If you know the exact values that aren't bold, please add them!!! Also please realize that the number of souls require in the third column is not cumulative, but rather the requirement for each level. Meaning to go from 1 to 5 does not require 724 souls. It requires each amount listed in column three be added to the previous one. In other words it costs, 673 + 690 + 707 + 724 or 2,794 total souls to go from 1 to 5. From Soul Level 1 to Soul Level 120 is 3,506,802 Souls

Soul Level Calculation
The amount of souls needed to level up can be modeled by the equation: y = 0.02x^3 + 3.06x^2 + 105.6x - 895 with x being the level and y being the amount of echoes. This is accurate level 12 and up.
The rest of the soul level table is filled in with calculated values. The soul levels needed increase in a pattern that repeats every 25 soul levels. The pattern changes slightly somewhere around soul level 260 because some of the values were 1 soul off. There was an adjustment made at level 260 (590708 vs. 590709), and level 711 (884423 vs. 884424).
If you want to duplicate this table in a spreadsheet, here is how to do it:
- Manually enter Soul Levels 11 through 37 (for this example, assume they are in cells B11:B37)
- In Cell B38, enter the following equation: 2*B37-B36+B13-2*B12+B11+3
- Copy cell B38 for as many soul levels as you desire.
This created a table that matched exactly with the soul levels up to 211, but soul level 260, 585, and 711 were off by 1 soul. An adjustment at soul level 260 fixed soul levels 260 & 585. To make adjustments, do the following:
- Enter in the value in the record that is incorrect.
- Also enter in the numbers for the two soul levels that follow the adjusted cell.
One way to implement this is to use three rows in a spreadsheet: the first column is the final table, the second column is any correction value, and the last column is the calculated value. Here is an example:
